In celebration of my next visit to ibiza in just 5 weeks time, i have decided to stop lurkin round the forums and finally post for the 1st time.....after all would u dance around outside Pacha wen everyone in there was havin a good time??? Well for one ud look stupid and the spanish ''taxi drivers'' would be in the way of u bustin sum moves out by askin if u want a lift ha
First of all i cannot explain how much i love the place - its my 5th visit in a row coming up and i cannot describe my feelings for the white isle! Ibiza is the girlfriend that never lets u down, the friend who is always there for u and the family that is always waiting for u, with open arms!!!!!!!
Anyway, enough of the emotion, i will put the tissue's away ha and here go's:
After Englands exit from the world cup last summer i was gloomy to say the least - but i knew one fact on that long, depressing trip back from Germany, one thought was gettin me thru that journey home - within just 3 days i would be heading to the place i love - IBIZA.
3 days later, after much di-secting of where England went wrong again i awoke - the day was Tuesday 11th of July - i still have the ''kid @ christmas'' feeling when it comes to ibiza, i was awake at 7:30, my girlfriend was well mad as she was gettin up for work. She gave me a send-off (a slice of toast of course ha) then I instantly banged my tunes on my IPOD with one thought in my mind - by tonight i will be in pacha. I made a few calls to my friends, there were 6 of us goin and we were all fcukin mad for it. I said goodbye to Jo and said i would see her in 2 weeks.
i had one last session at the gym, did my last bit of shopping and packed my bags then it was time to head to manchester - we were flying early evening and after handing our luggage over it was time to have a few pints - looking at my friends and the moods they were in, i knew this was going to be a holiday to remember. On the plane we went, and a nice flight was coming to an end....it was almost time - i had a window seat (argued this with Daz!) and i took a look...there it was, Ibiza finally after months & months of waiting and anticipation i was back where i belong, after landing we walk off the plane the heat hitting me and i knew then this holiday would be the best....Englands world cup exit was becoming a distant memory at this point.
after chucking our bags in our accomodation we were ready......., we had drinks in hush and plastik before going to pacha for defected. it was a great first nite and a good start to the holiday - the following nights saw visits to Space, DC10, Pacha again, El Divino, Eden rooms, i cant remember the exact order these went in so i cant do a day by day review so im gonna pick a few places out for special mention:
SPACE: Woah, as always this was a good one but NOTHING could have prepared me for how good it was going to be, the whole day was f*cking ace and Bora Bora beach - yet again INCREDIBLE! That place is like heavan on earth. Seeing Bora Bora again was like losing my virginity all over again ha, the heat, the music, the people, my mates everyone happy and i couldnt have been happier. We visited SPACE both sundays we were in IBIZA and to be honest that wasnt enough.
DC10: Unbelieveable - the music, the people, the decoration, brilliant just brilliant. Again, better than i expected - and i had high expectations. Yes i know, my 4th visit to Ibiza yet my first to DC10 - i am embarressed. I will make up for it this year though
El Divino: Classiest club on earth - nuff said, MN2S, hed kandi, all good baby!
Pacha - Walking thru them doors is a dream, u kinda know uve arrived when ur in that place. Ur bank balance also knows uve arrived but hey its all worth it! Every single last penny.
The 2 weeks i spent on the island last year were easily the best 2 weeks of my life - i wouldnt have changed a thing about it. Im hopin this year can live up to last's but in all honesty if its half as good i'll be happy, well thats a lie i want it to be even better! I feel each year is better than the last (where else could u say that about eh??) anyway hope uve enjoyed reading.
