*gasp!*

I think I might have an accident on Monday and book accomodation to go with my flights - it would help to have somewhere to stay after all.

I know so many people that are going this year but will be getting a place to myself so I can retreat when things get scary! :?

I think the Catalingo husband might be joining me for a short while too but this it tbc.

Sooooo...which to go for and why? Quick responses please!!! I know there's a seperate hotel reviews post but trawling through that to find these will be a nightmare!

This is what I've found based on 2 sharing for 2 weeks:

Jet - £974
Arlanza - £833.63
Bossa Mar - £602.74 (**** hole?)

From expedia:
Playa Sol - £366 8O (this place isn't 'that' bad is it?)
Central PLaya - £410
Hostal Europa Punico - £432.60 (inc breakfast & dinner)
Mare Nostrum - £468.01 (inc breakfast) - a bit too full of horrid package holiday families for me.
Nautico Ebeso - £474 (love this place!)
Maritimo - £482

Are there any other cheap deals I should know about???
Please help me decide!
Thanks. 8)

playa sol!

then we can get up to mucho mischief  in your second week when I'm there (you going out for openings and then a second week right?)

I hope it's not 'that' bad!!!

(was dirt cheap for us too...)

Remember, save more money on accom, and you can spend a little more on making ibiza special.

I promise to invite you round for a nice dinner too at our flat if you want to save even more ca****o 8)

Sal Rossa in PdB is cheap, cheerful and well situated.

Few kids around but quite a large complex so not enough to cause a nuisance.

Are you saying you want to sh*g my husband b___ Nick?

Share and share alike I suppose! 8O

8O 8O 8O

Of course I'd love to sh*g your husband, but that was not what I was getting at

I was trying to write cash-it-o, like a cute way of saying cash... serves me right for trying to make up new words  the ibiza-forums s****horpe filter soon put a stop to that!

Rob, Playa Sol are decent enough apartments. Our friends stayed there last year and got a great room, sea view, clean, spacious etc. I personally can't understand why it's so cheap because I think the apartments are better than Jet! Maybe it's because the location is kind of in between PDB and Figuretas rather than directly IN one of the resorts. If you dont mind a 20min walk to either resort then I'd recommend staying here.
I can't vouch for all the apartments obviously, but when we visited our friends in Playa Sol their apartment was really nice, basic obviously for the price, but by far the best budget apartments Ive seen.

Oh and I wouldnt go for Maritimo unless you fancy a room with a view of a brick wall out of your balcony  (what we ended up with last year!)

Aaah thanks all, that's a big help.

Do we know if prices increase as the months go on?

I'm not sure whether they increase, I shouldnt have thought so as most hotels have a set rate per night dont they?

Im hopefully booking Playa Sol next month, I hope it's not booked up! Half of Spotlight seem to be staying there on the week we want 8O

It would be more impressive if you write Catalinyo

And if you want to be just a bit ofensive or provocative, call him catalanuflo

Is that a real word then? 8O

I make up a different name for him every week . 'Pilchard' is the favourite at the moment.

No

Cataligno looks italian, GN in italian = Ñ in spanish = NY in catalan

You have a rabbit called Pilchard?

I think it's a great name!!! 8) Fantastic word.

Indeed we have. And being a lop he has lovely ears too! Actually, with all your Hortensia etc stuff you guys should get pets and register them at our vets. They send all the letters out addressed to the animal a la:

"Dear Pilchard,

Did you hide our last letter from your human family? It is really is very important that you ask them to bring you in for booster shot, particularly as your 'house' is outside.....etc"

I suppose you could register Hortensia et al anyway:lol:

now that sounds like the best vets I've ever heard of! Finally someone is treating the animals as equals to humans :D

I wouldn't stay at Jet, very basic, noisy, don't feel particularly safe.

The only other one I know from the list is Maratimo - Jamie stayed there twice, it's a nice hotel, as long as you ask for a seaview you get nice balcony and it overlooks the g__ beach, what more do you want
