What's in yours?

I'm off out there in a week's time and am taking 5-htp, fish oil capsules and Berocca. I'm not even sure that the last one does anything (bar turn your pee an amazing colour), but probably worth having anyway as my diet goes downhill on holiday and I forget about the whole 5 a day thing (despite the local fruit/veg looking miles better than we get at home).

Any other recommendations? (Apart from more alcohol.)

5-HTP, anti-histamines, ibruprofen, blister plasters, headphones, sleeping tablets

the usual supplies ......8)

Beer

Oh, no alcohol. sorry.

Anyway... beer.

Aquarius is also a must.
I buy several large bottles at a time and keep it in the hotel fridge. It's Coke's Spanish version of Gatorade/Powerade. Replenishes fluids and minerals and such. Comes in a lightly flavored lemon or orange varieties.

Are the sleeping tablets prescription or something you can buy from Boots? Any particular brand? I find, er, partying can sometimes produce weird episodes on trying to sleep, so anything that just knocks one out would be cool.

Whats 5HTP???

I tend to take plasters, savalon, some strong pain killers, a good multivitimin, and I always buy shed loads of orange juice once I get there.... ready for the morning after.

Other than that, any recommendations are welcome!

34 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

well; that's where the 5-HTP comes in - every clubbers favourite pharmaceutical.

I use either Lloyds Pharmacy's sleeping tablets - 2 of them are brilliant or Boots Valarium - although gone off them recently.... seem to have lost their power for a god nights sleep... :)

If you've had a heavy night on cheap alcohol I recommend Lucozade Sport (the still variety). The orange flavour re-awakens your taste buds and as it's isotonic your body absorbs the fluid pretty much straight away. Far more effective on a hangover headache than any painkillers, and much more beneficial to your poor battered kidneys and liver.
As an alternative you could try adding some dioralyte to a bottle of water.

I don't think 5-htp helps with sleep paralysis and stuff. Well, not me anyway.

Try Aquarius. It's much more readily available, much cheaper in Spain, and achieves the same things. Orange flavor also quite good.

I find this to be just the remedy for ingesting too much of the Devil's Poison...whatever that may be..

The recipe is as follows, but beware, if you take it after 9.15am it has the effect of being literally punched in the face.

Ingredients

4 Guanavana Fruits
1 Litre of Milk
3 Teaspoons sugar
2 Tbspns honey
Cat Feaces (to taste)

Kids, I sh1t you not - this thing really works and I always have a batch ready for me after a night of debauchery..

ENJOY!

Eat as much as you can, but that can be difficult :) Drink PLENTY of water the day after to flush your kidneys through & for the dehydration (not ice cold, That`s what gives you bad gut`s sometimes) and plenty of salt, (You lose a lot sweating & pissing, cramp can be a sign of low blood sodium levels) 2 OXO cubes in a mug of hot water with a can of coke for the liquid and sugar,,, my favourite for that,
Have a good one
Tim

ps Above method tried and tested (and confirmed with renal specialist) for 20 + years :D

I always go for the prescription ones. I have yet to find a non prescribed one that works..

BTW have you found your new RC replacement? Or did you massively stock up?

Only stocked up a little and it's long gone now.

AFAIK there are no good replacements at the moment, but there is some promising sounding stuff in the pipeline. Sadly, Cameron and Clegg have a few plans which should soon stop such malarkey for good. :(

In the last hour of a night out start drinking as much water as possible.....well, within reason I mean.
