Ibiza NYE

Will Space be open for NYE and DC-10 on New Years day?

If so what kinda line-ups can I expect? Will We Love... and Circo Loco be promoting the parties for example, or will it be in-house promotion? I'm hoping for the former...

Anyone got line-ups from last year?

Sorry didnt try to answer your question. Pacha will be open of course (that would be some night). I do not think Space is open tho. DC10 was past couple I believe. Not sure on line ups.

Last year Pacha was open NYE (mainly ressies) and DC10 open on NYD (usual Monday morning Circo Loco DJs). Last year we had dinner in the Pacha restaurant before the club which I would def recommend.

Regarding flights you can't fly direct, we flew with Iberia and changed at Barcelona.

Ibiza at New Year is completely different to summer season - we spent most of our time chilling, visiting beaches for long walks, restaurants and then just went clubbing on NYE/NYD.

Would def recommend it for a New Year :D

Pacha... hmm... don't normally like any of the line-ups at Pacha... DC10 residents would suit me fine though.

What is the temperature like and how much is a wee trip over likely to cost?

you have me thinking now!

the missus is in india over NY so I am owed a bit of a blow out..

Flights are about 200 quid approx (check out skyscanner.ner).

I reckon you could pick up reasonable accomodation for say 50 quid a night?

+ spends. I guess your looking at 5-600 for a couple of days. Hmmm..thats how much I put in the joint account monthly...might have to think it through!

I think Amnesia is open this NYE as well (check Mackie's winter clubbing section).

We had temperatures in the low-mid 20s every day and were dining alfresco without coats on - it was perfect :D

We stayed at El Peurto apartments in Ibiza Town which were dead cheap and really centrally based for everything.

And for flights the earlier you book the better - we booked really early and I think our flights were about £130 each return which isn't much more than summer.

ooohhhh you've got me thinking now about NYE:lol: supposed to be going Dubai but flights cost a mint,is Ibiza cheaper in the winter (as in drinks, etc)

Cheers abody, Amnesia and DC10 sounds good to me.

Sure I can rely on Amnesia for a good line-up in-house going by the closing party line-up; awesome.

You must be joking!
GO TO IBIZA:oops:

why i can get free accommodation in Dubai and in my mates bar i can get free beer (i dj a few nites over there in return for free beer and accommodation for the duration of my stay)i would consider Ibiza but not if the drinks in say Pacha are going to be €12 (fcuking outrageous price) around NYE like they are during the summer season,id be surprised if they are actually i couldn't see the locals being happy with those prices in the winter season.

McRackin or any Ibiza residents (or anyone who has been there on NYE) just wondering what the prices are like for beers, etc in the clubs, i couldn't justify going to Ibiza again on NYE and spending like €12 a bottle of San Miguel in Pacha you get in the supermarket for like 40 cents:o surely prices must go down in the winter?

yes, they go down in winter ... but ITS NYE !!!
so a bottle will approximately be around €120 ...

For those who've been at new year, how busy are the clubs? where do most people come from.. mainly locals? or a mix like all other times of year?

It is much more predominantly locals and a few holidaymakers.

Clubs are nicely busy and Ibiza Town has a nice Christmas/New Year feel about it....but the more traditional summer resorts are dead - we walked all the way back from DC10 to Ibiza Town last NYD thru PDB and we didn't see one person on the street in PDB.

locals fall into 2 categories.

1) they'll be able to get free drinks or cheaper drinks at least
2) they won't be going to pacha anyway

why should locals get free or cheaper drinks and tourists cant?If they tried that here there would be uproar, and why wont locals be going to Pacha anyway, isn't that one of the very few clubs that stays open all year?

Would this scenario not be the same as you getting free beer at your friends place in Dubai ;)
