No just a plodder, will be happy to get around in 4 hour 15 to 30, what time you thinking? I'm probably around 9 min miles pace

I would be happy with 4:30, it's a stepping stone for another race a month later so I won't be going crazy. So long as the sweepers are not on my tail I will be happy Good luck amigo.

And you, hope it all goes well, I'm a bit worried about the uphill first half as its something you just can't train for.

A former Spotlight legend has transferred her three day clubbing marathons for a three hour marathon!! Tis true. If you have the stamina from past clubbing shenanigans you are 3/4 of the way there.....

I know what you mean when compared to a flat city marathon route but it's not a huge hill just looks like it on the route profile! Weather freezing today and very windy, due to warm up towards the end of the week.
