My wife today recieve'd a telephone call from our eldest ( 24yrs )daughter who is current'ly in Ibiza, she should of come home this morning after spending near'ly two month's on the white isle , my wife ( her mother ) waited at the airport ( marseille ) only too recieve a text massage saying all is well in St. Eulalia, back too my finish studies in september.... Hang on a minute she did not not notifiy of her intention's, is Ibiza now an island whereby once a visit mean's you are a prisoner??? Honest'ly she is out of order as would your children treat you as our daughter is treating us, for christ sake she is should'nt be unhappy she has alway's got what she want's we are alway's their when she need's us but this time she has gone too far......Is the Ibiza culture today really as bad as was it seem's???? Before today i use too love Ibiza but when it tries too take's away someone you love one must act

Yes fergie 19 !! irresponsibly she is behaving pourquoi??? For the critic's why does it make you laugh??? Maybe because your not a parent, but if this scenario happen's to you ( i hope not ) then maybe not for myself but for but for her mother one will have a bit more compassion... Imagine how many parent's have lost their children because of a scenario like this  Donc c'est pas grave continue parceque personne ils sont fou pour vous

You should have bought her another pony instead of letting her go to Ibiza :D

N8, sorry but she already has her own ;) Problem being that she is upsetting our youngest daughter ( 13yrs ) who want's to be like her half sister.. We will be visiting Ibiza in september ( ibiza-spotlighter's ) watchout  all was going too plan then someone decide's that the plan must suit them... Well not for much longer

Red, maybe your right as maybe she has discovered her father's Ibiza root's :D :D and decided too stay.. Ok!! she is stayingfriend's who live on the island but likewise, yesterday she was coming home :D and today she decide's too stay :( at my expense

Red, now i am beginning too wonder :? But she must realize that Ibiza can never be her home unless she is prepared too work for it, and i mean WORK... This is her personal $$$$$$$ computer that i paid for, but does she care :? No, as she prefer's too live it up on Ibiza, and who's footing the bill?????No it's not jacques CHIRAC, or is it the french tax payer it's me her flesh and blood so she should atleast show a bit more respect  .... Still, i love her ( she's my daughter afterall ) so she get's away with it, but sometime's she's not with it as it seem's only living for Ibiza...

she sounds like a normal young girl who is just enjoying herself.
dont worry to much.. the season is coming to an end so she will be home!
she is just enjoying her youth and having a great time with her friends
can yuo blame her for not wanting to come home? she is living a dream now. having fun, sun, sand, surf, going back home just brings the daily grind! home will be there when she gets back.. let her enjoy her last week weeks of summer.. you only live once..

Coffeetime, yes i agree with your point maybe i'm just being over protective  ...But then what parent wouldn't be if it was my son ok, fair enough but because she is young and attractive so naturally i have some concern's ??? She's staying with some friend's of our's but i have since discovered that our friend's are now back in France leaving there daughter with mine on the island...

Hey R/B, i see you're from St Tropez.

May try and get over there sometime soon.

Can you recommend any nice accomodation (not TOO expensive mind)?

Ta.

Hello Drew, what type of accom ( not expensive ) are you looking for??? Like Ibiza St.tropez enjoy's a seasonal period from may to the end of september.....It's does not boast the very varied club scene that Ibiza offer's, as St.tropez is very laid back with only a few small bar's down by the port ( less hors season ) and good restaurant's...However the old town has still kept it's charm though some ( alot ) of development as taken place outside ie: villa's, villa's and more villa's :( It must be said that St tropez is quite expensive compared to other part's of France, expect too pay around 4 euros for a 25cl beer, 45++euros for eating in one of it's many seafood restaurant's...
