Hello all im headin over there on the 23rd of may is it too late to go over if your lookin for work and does any1 have any contact details for bars and clubs who are lookin for workers

I never liked Figueretas until a friend of mine moved in at Lido. 300 € / month for a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment with a big terrace and a billion $$ view, incredible. Esp. during off-seaon it's pure heaven there.

I recently met Alan and Michael who after visiting the island for 25years have decided to settle here and have taken over Bar DJ in Figueretes along with their friend Rob, which is now called Bar C.U.B.E. I was invited to their opening night on Saturday 10th of April and I was keen to see what changes they had made. I was really impressed with the classy modern interior décor and the relaxing ambiance of the outside terrace, they really have put a lot of thought into providing a pleasant atmosphere for their clientele. There was a delicious buffet and fabulous entertainment by Miss Carla. Bar C:U:B:E: are open for Sunday roasts cooked by chef Vicky, and during the summer they will be open from 8am till late for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all prepared in a traditional English way. The bar is managed by" another" Vicky, who will do her best to make sure you have a memorable time.

Yeah, Macky, 290 to be precise. The owner is Matutes' niece (she has 4 pisos at Lido). Okay it wasn't in the best state before my friend moved in but now that it's completely renovated it's goooorgeous.

Speaking of Lido, do you know the Lollo Ferrari lookalike who lives in Rialto (the building on the left of Lido)? I think she's hysterical. No matter if it's summer or winter, whenever you walk the dogs along Es Cavallet on an afternoon, she's there with her husband, her Yorkshire Terrier and her black Poodle mix. I bet she was a porn star, but haven't dared to ask her yet, our dog induced "friendship" hasn't gone so far yet. [/quote]
 
Partying in Early May

I am also going to be there with 2 other buddies of mine from May 5-8. Staying at EsVive. If anyone knows any happenings please let me know. I hear that there is a club there open all year... what is the name of it? :?:

:lol: Okay so think slightly smaller boobies but bigger lips (always in pale pink), mega-bronzed skin and a few more wrinkles than Lollo. :idea: Wanna meet her? All you need is a dog who likes to play with small dogs which you talk for a walk along Es Cavallet on an afternoon. During summer you can always find her in the middle of the "swinger" area. :twisted:

SURE! But you'll have to be able to handle 2, they are inseparable! Plus "Lollo's" 2 dogs and her 2 other "accessories", so, Mackie, are you sure your nerves are strong enough??? :?:
