Hi everybodys.

i need some assistance on ibiza. i am 31 and am wanting to holiday in ibiza next june, problem is i don't want to be where all the drunkards are. I want to experience the real ibiza (chilled music, sun setting, etc) want to have a tan as well!!!!

where would it be best to stay etc. any help wud be really appreciated. I want it from the real people who have experienced it so i can really enjoy it. want to stay in top accomodation etc, its a once in a lifetime experience for me.

thanks everyone.

You'll probably get a few different answers but for what it's worth here's my opinion;

Avoid the West End in San Antonio

Sunsets are awesome at Cafe Del Mar, Cafe Mambo etc in San Antonio

San Antonio bay has some great bars e.g. Bar M, Itaca amongst many others

I would recommend Playa Den Bossa for accomodation - more upmarket than San Antonio and has Bora Bora - enough said

thanks, i have been meaning to go for so long i just want to really enjoy it. i'm big into retro tunes, anywhere to go for these little chaps?

retro have been doing nights in ibiza for years and will be right up your street.

it depends, what do you exactly mean by retro tunes??

The real Ibiza for me (the heddonistic non clubbing side) would be to stay at Bennairas which is the north of the island. If this is what your after then stay away from all the commercial side i'e San Antonio, Ibiza Town, PDB. You can get the sunsets from here and without all the drunks.
