Annoyed I'm just missing this (not out until Monday).
Nice to see the sport gradually becoming more popular. It only had a tiny fanbase for years, largely because it's very difficult to spectate.

This is exactly the sort of shit Ibiza needs as much as it does Ibiza Uncovered episodes.
Funny how so many of the high brow / high society freaks that were so vocal and against the off shore oil exploration have been flying the flag for this nasty speed boat crap. The damage this high power speed boat nonsense does to local marine life is crazy. But what the heck any excuse to stiff people a score for going on the beach!

Well any chance of a few hours shut eye at the hotel or on the beach were ruined Saturday and Sunday... Man those things are loud

Honestly, I thought it was pretty boring.
Had some friends over and by coincidence saw some of the free practice from top of D'alt Vila and their 11 year old son was desperate to see the race.
So we went there on Saturday to watch from a bar next to Jet. The engine sound was more inpressive from the Cathedral than from the beach.
Nice to see once, but thats it.
