Ibiza Gossip 2026

Just my opinion and I’m sure someone else would give a different view..I entered at 1 queue for toilet half hour ,queue for bar half hour at least ..couldn’t get down to dance
Floor area and gordo played shite(imo) ..I did an hour of carola and thought his music was quality tbf (of what I heard ) I won’t go back to opening having done a fair few openings there …I accept though that sometimes it’s how you feel on the night ,another night I could have had a totally different experience. No surprise massively over sold . To balance that out I did Hi opening and had an amazing night but if I’d felt like I did friday I’d have probably hated it ,so maybe an unfair review .
I know how you feel on the Pacha, oversold/too rammed. We went to Music On closing in Oct last year after the Las Dalia’s/Hernan cancellation. I was a little reluctant to go as wasn’t really keen on Carola, (not so Techno now?) but had to decide on it last minute and as I’d never been to Pacha, thought ok well let’s do it. Anyway gave it a go and paid about 230 euros for 2 with drinks b4 12pm. Anyway as I mentioned we got in early but it was crazy busy then. Well, I normally try and make the best of it but I knew we weren’t going to have the best of time as Heidi hates it when you can’t move. The steps down to the dance floors were at times just impassable so she was on one pretty much from the off and that was that. We left just after 3 and thinking back, I was gutted considering how the night would've been at Akasha!

To add, I do appreciate that it was Closing, etc but this insistence of Clubs/Events just packing as many in as they can sell, winds me up….Obviously getting old!! 😂

To be fair, the Club Room has had pretty good line-ups the last few years, and is a totally different vibe beyond the IG crowd in the Theatre
Yes, true... we normally love it, especially since UNVRS opened.

There is tons of space, the crowd is more of a club crowd, and the artists are normally up our street - saw ANNA there, Franky Wah, Miss Monique, etc

Sven was in fine form I would say. Terrace was full and crowd was into it. He was playing fairly dark. Some typical Sven animation but not completely over the top like the old days I remember back before he became the fully bald Sven that we know now. Only caught the later half of Luciano, and the vibe seemed hit or miss especially because the decks cut out for 5mins at one point and he seemed a bit pissy about that understandably

Dc10 I would say was pretty text book for an opening. First off the police were there with their dogs stopping cars on the way in. Once inside the garden was a great vibe. A ton of industry people from IMS still in town. The friction slowly built as more and more people funnelled in. Saw quite a lot of people being kicked out by control from the middle of the garden dance floor, for various reasons I assume. Also one or two spats seemed to break out. Like I said, high tension. Have to say Dixon and Jimi Jules absolutely rocked it in their set to close the garden, I am sure there will be plenty IDs to search for after that. So as you can imagine when the garden music closed and &me & rampa begin to play terrace that is when the true sardine can dc10 begins. Their music was actually pretty good as well, but it’s just a little hard to be in a relaxed and happy vibe when you’re fighting for your life to not get pushed over. Caught bits and pieces of other sets too, Tania’s was memorable…. All in all satisfying night for me but I’m sure for others a stressful one ….
