All I will say though, is are we now starting to see many DJs getting too big for nightclubs?

Black Coffee has just announced a date at London's o2 Arena in May. It is in the round with an Orchestra, so ~20,000 people, with probably 15,000 of them in seats (though they might stand up). RÜFÜS DU SOL also have a date there in May next year.

Maybe the next evolution is people just want to sit down to watch many of these DJs.

Maybe Ibiza is missing a trick here - build an actual arena where people can sit down.

But they'd need to proceed with caution, the industry has been here before around the Millenium when massive cavernous clubs openened which were great when full for a big event but money drains when half empty on smaller nights (like Privilige was by the end too)

I've always thought an Arena would work in Ibiza though. A lot of Pop and Rock acts would want to play there just for the cool factor of having Ibiza on their tour poster.

Oh and Black Coffee O2 tickets are £93-256 😲 makes Hi look like a bargain...

the most over rated dj off all time, playing with an orchestra, wouldn't attend if i had a freebie...

Yeah. Interesting where RÜFÜS DU SOL go in Ibiza next season. Do they continue to jump around a lot, or do they end up with a residency / mini residency?

Or too similar to some of their current residents? But one thing is for sure they are a BIG PULL at the moment,

Maybe together with TNL from 2027 onwards the former Aguamar behind Hi, and no more parties at Usuaiha... ?
 
Tiësto and Armin together every week? Don’t think so. Tiësto and guests yes, but no weekly with Armin.
