Just checked him out, never heard of him before.I think he had some dates at Pantheon last summer
The music and whole set up is awful, but he’s really good looking so maybe that will make him popular with females (I could be bigtime wrong) and therefore he’ll be popular with promoters.
I wouldn’t want a dj/act like that at Hi, would not be credible at all imo

Did anyone go to the see / hear / dance to the Mestiza ladies performances in Hi this summer ?
Apart from the slides that state "... - present day", you would think Defected was deserving of an inclusion here?

Not at Hi but they also played at one of the last Saga at Chinois.
They get a lot of stick for being more about their look and choreography than the actual DJ skills and often accused of playing a pre recorded set.
For all those reasons I was always not that interested in them and I was a bit surprised for the Saga booking.
Well, I actually didn't mind them that much, yes, the abanicos came out at some point but I didn't think their music selection was that bad, if you like Flamenco sounding vibes, which I do, and Latino, afro house you might actually have a good time.
I have to give it to them, they look good and even if this shouldn't matter when it comes to the art of DJing, it goes with their concept which is music and fashion.

Nightlife International "Best Clubs" being awarded to the 3 TNL Clubs in the order of their priority (UNVRS, Hi, Ushuaia) almost had me falling off my chair with such surprise. What a total and utter shock this was.
The people who tell everyone at home , that they were in Ibiza and saw Guetta are the same who tell at home that they were at the best club in the world. Same as : These is the best Hifi Equipment in the world ( more expensive means better ! ) , this is the best car ( same ! ) and so on. Same since ever. Youtube is full with it.
