ibiza gossip 2025

I’ll kick things off, solomun done at Pacha??
Kinda feels that way and it’s long overdue imo, not that the party wasn’t doing well, just felt like it needed to be refreshed. I wish they would have announced something though to give people a chance to see him there one last time.

I may be miles off here, but I actually think he has taken the sound and night more where he wants it to be.

Don't hope so either but I can see every other Sunday switch between Cox and Solomun on Sunday

I mean money always talks (mostly)! I am pretty sure Solomun would have had multiple offers every year since 2013, and is yet to leave. I could see the pull of a shorter season working for him though, as he is already down from 22 to about 17 dates. But I go back to the fact he continually plays big rooms and festivals all over Europe and beyond over the summer and winter. Some weekends he has 2-3 of them, then probably jumps on a PJ Sunday night and gets to play in a more intimate setting like Pacha. I mean if I was him, I could not think of anything better! Also, they re-built the bloody club around the concept he introduced of the DJ booth in middle of the dancefloor! Plus do not discount the relationships and friendships these DJs would have with key staff and people in the club too.

Hernán Cattáneo is being POSTPONED and will not take place today. It is being moved to Tuesday 14 October instead.

Please DO NOT travel to the venue.

Ticket holders are being contacted soon with further info and their options, which will include full refunds where requested

I've been following what has been said about this topic, and at this point I think it's a big unknown. On the one hand, money always talks, but on the other, Solomun seems loyal to his audience and his home on the island. Honestly, I don't think the atmosphere at any other club will ever be the same. The main reason I go to the island every year is his session at Pacha, for everything it represents. I'll be really disappointed if that happens... I hope it's just speculation. If it were your last year, everyone would already be talking about it. Although every year there is talk of UNVRS...
But, As you mentioned, he redefined the whole club because of his residency, and although his connection with the club has seen better days, he feels a unique connection there.
I don't believe 1% that it was his last dance at Pacha, otherwise it would have been announced and he would have played until at least noon, followed by an after-party, of course :D

** If he leaves Pacha, I believe he will leave Ibiza for a few years and then make a big comeback, but at Pacha. Mainly because of the fever that has led to overcrowding on the island and different dynamics in the clubs. As everything is a cycle, I believe that Pacha will one day return to how it used to be. (It's just imagination)
