ibiza gossip 2025

Fair point that Latin goes completely under the radar on this board and in the UK music scene altogether. Going back few years and stayed at the Garbi in Bossa and was surprised how big the queue was for the Swag! Club on their Latin nights.
Went to swag for an after (when proper caters were illegal) and got raided by polis...it was good fun!

Es Paradis has been open 50 years, I’ve been there a couple of times myself over the many years and it has been busy, nice club inside without doubt. Whenever I drove by in the last couple of weeks the big banner on the front had the same stuff on again and again it seemed, like the ‘Fiesta Del Agua’ I must’ve saw it 2-3 times in one week (Went to this myself when I was 20, good fun), can’t be that many attending that over and over? I’ve always wondered how busy it actually gets in there given it seems to be open most nights as well, I’m guessing the reggaeton party must be quite popular with the Spanish crowd. There was so many young Spanish people around the west end when bresh was on I imagine it must be similarly busy for that.

Think it would make a wicked place for day partying with the bits of roof being retracted.

A few years ago they tried a night with an evening start with the roof open but believe they did it once then cancelled? Didn't seem to give it a chance before it was axed.

I'd have thought one night a week Sunset night aimed at a 30+ crowd who cant be bothered with OBeach is worth a try surely. And not like it would need an expensive headliner either

Just looked at the spotlight party calendar, firstly it’s open every night of the week and the water party is twice a week, is it that busy it warrants a second night? The reggaeton party is the most expensive at €45 which alludes to it being a lot more popular. Not my bag in the slightest but even starting that earlier whilst the sun shines would be great for that venue.

Assuming Las Mimosas isn't a venue for The Beat Hotel this month?
I just found this on their website. Not at Las Mimosas this year, and not even on Friday. But on Saturday afternoon they have something “secret” on offer, at a new location.

”On Saturday 27, we’re pleased to be jumping into one of Ibiza’s newest openings. No flashing lights or aerial acrobatics required here, though, as we’re heading to Pomelo Playa – a pitch-perfect little chiringuito on the beach at Cala Gracio, by our friends at Mambo. Serving mouth-watering bites and the right kind of ice cold drinks, expect a top secret line up of Beat Hotel friends and family soundtracking what should be a dreamy Saturday afternoon.”

Seem to recall studio 338 planning daytime events here and I’m sure Lawler was playing but it got knocked on the head …might have imagined it but …

Think es paradis misses out a lot from the death of the west end

Few years we'd end up in there because there was wrist bands etc

Showing my arse a bit with this comment but I used to love the hed kandi nights there

Yeah one of the two times I ended up there was because of a free wristband. Before that I went to the water party when I was much younger, it was like €20 so just a cheapish night between the bigger ones.

Yeah it was a water party! Was crazy how busy it was. We went back in 2008 for Clubland, saw Mike Di Scala singing Pretty Green Eyes and Discolights!!

Don't think I've been in there since

Yeah I remember it being very busy, was August/September though. The only other time was June 2010, it was an Ibiza rocks after party (Ian Brown had done a gig that evening) and was given a wristband in San An so only went because it was free. Again, very busy.
