Other than the name of his show, I don’t think Armin can be classed as a trance dj as there is very little of it in his sets. We have decided to give his show at Ushuaia a miss this year for that reason.Just had a look and its €75.
I did love his state of trance stuff about a decade ago, but perhaps in this day and crowd its pushing the curve a bit too much.
Perhaps things pointing to Ushuaia doing less days of programming next year. (Assuming the revert to hotel rumours don't materialise)

Also he's just got old. He's 48 which must seem ancient to younger clubbers, and its 12 years since he had a big 'Pop' chart hit with This Is What It Feels Like.
Guetta still miraculously doing a Peter Pan at age 57 and selling lots of tickets however.

Yeah him and Calvin Harris seem to draw them in week after week.
The couple who said armin wasn't that full really liked it compared to Harris; simply because there was space and not massively oversold like the other 2 nights.
I guess we will find out next year if
€€€ prices + no space = people not bothering anymore.

Interesting how the venues have changed from Pikes and Mimosas to Las Dalias / Akasha... (unless the former are still involved somehow).
