SWIM was pulled into a medical room in Pacha a few years back. Some very nice nurses took his blood pressure and heart rate periodically, insisted he had to stay there for a while, along with a number of other people who were gurning like no-one's business. After a couple of hours they said he was free to go and he expected to return to his mate on the dancefloor. However, he was released to a couple of bouncers who (very firmly, but politely, to be fair) informed him he was leaving and would not be re-admitted. He was escorted to a door, not the main entrance, and found himself alone on the street. Had he had been in any significant ill-health, he had been abandoned.

I also re-counted here before about seeing a shoe-less shirtless lad outside O-Beach being cared for by a couple of girls who didn't appear to be his mates, but a couple of kind strangers. The girls were chased off by 2 bouncers, who then carried the lad 100m away from O-beach and then shoved him off down the promenade like a scolded animal.

No doubt similar cases have required medical attention, with public health services picking up the aftermath of the 'clubs' coining in it, with little care for their punters.

Like the One More Time cancellation, I'm surprised they thought there was a weekly market for it, even just for September. It's essentially a retro event that needs a crowd travelling to the island specifcally for it, not something that will attract current regular clubbers while on their Ibiza holiday.
 
How has Eden been going this Season, they having Problems or is it just One More Time/Shine/Thursday Nights and that sound that isn’t working? I know Shine doesn’t start till September

How has Reboot Friday Nights been doing numbers wise?

So neither the club marketed as 'no1 in the world' nor the 'hyper club' have a room for minor medical issues with a nurse in attendance? That would be too much to ask apparently :/
Didn't Space have that, or am I wrong? Also, awareness teams have become pretty much the norm in good clubs, these teams would help in caring for overdosed people instead of security.
 
Real shame around SHINE being cancelled at Eden, I enjoyed some trance (Aly & Fila, Kearney etc) in the middle of a tech holiday - after attending the past five years, the numbers weren't incredible, but enough to sustain a September month residency?

It could be due to limited ticket sales or the fact PVD is on tour with his new album? If I'm not mistaken, this was the only trance night on the island apart from the one off with PVD in September @ Amnesia? The real death of trance on the island....

Exactly same happened to me at the old sankeys. I wasn’t even in a state either, got took to the medics room heart rate etc took then chucked out into a back lane by the bouncers. Found my way back to the entrance paid again to get in and was back on the dancefoor:lol:

You look at the programming and can only worry for Eden this year, Shine had been dwindling year on year but i thought the shorter September stint was the ideal solution. You cant fault Shine/Eden/PVD for keeping the Thursday trance spirit alive as long as they did though. Just glad i booked for Godskitchen instead this year which ive been told has been selling really well!! Hopefully shine can still pull something out of the bag for the 25th Sep as it is trance week after all....
 
Would Shine go to Amnesia for a one off on the 25th? That would mean all the ITE parties were at one venue, only Hi Amnesia and 528 have no events on that day.

Ibiza Trance Event have said it’s going to be a “longer party” so I’m guessing at 528 and then the indoor club.
 
Pre-Covid it looked like Eden was on the up but it seems like it is having a tough time again. Losing Defected was a big loss. This summer all the events on a Thursday gone. Who is doing the programming at Eden these days?
