ibiza gossip 2025

IIRC they've kept the brands separate all along with Glitterbox at Space/Hi
and Defected going from Divino to Pacha with stops at eden, amnesia and ushuaia
probably a marketing move on their part

some people might pick nights based on venue and not want to go twice to Pacha for example meaning 1 loses out
Yeah started in Cala Basa, then Boom! When it was at Space l loved it. Would really suit Pacha but doubling up both there is too much

on cala codolar, the chiringuito is not there (I thought it was going to be built like last summer in June) but still nothing for the moment (and this chiringuito worked well last year)

Did Defected do well at Eden? I can’t remember, also was there an some funny business going on with people reporting issues and the police getting involved or am I just imagining it

Selfishly, I would love to see Glitterbox go to Pacha
What’s the second room like at Pacha now? I’ve not been since The Funky Room days.

Im guessing it’s not as big as what’s at Hii in which case a downside would be, the sort of (much more interesting, credible IMO) bookings they have currently in the Club Room would fall away.

To the best of my knowledge, it was just one night and it was checks to make sure everybody working was doing so legally

It was the same night as our club hopping marathon in 2019 and we had to re-route. It ended up opening about an hour late and still filled up to the brim

The fact that EVERY night at UNVRSE is now free entry for people with resident / workers passes all night (including club night opening parties) speaks volumes. It wasn’t even a day beforehand. Nor was Hi ever across several seasons. Clearly bar spend is down - maybe let people move inside and spend less on the visuals (which do look incredible) and more on visitor experience? I’m sure they’ll say it’s to placate the residents / Ipicenco population but Paradise was only free before 1am yesterday. Today free all night.

Always knew this season would be a huge turning point in Ibiza.

Paradise (and maybe Fisher) always seemed optimistic for a weekly spot at a venue that size. Maybe I'm wrong

If it is more of a 'concert show' style venue then Paradise really isn't that. It'd also midweek so it's not going to pick up the weekender tech house fans 🤷‍♂️

every night except guetta and elrow yeah.

I'm with you, I also knew things would change this summer with the reopening of privi as unvrs. after a few years where it got harder and harder to get GL for the more popular parties and impossible to get in with workers passes, this summer all the venues will be much more 'inviting' to residents and workers to help filling the clubs. I mean look at this sunday, when's the last time us residents had the choice to go see either coxy or solomun and carola for free?

thing is though, the tactic works - letting in all residents and workers for free to paradise last night meant they could put up the 'sold out' banner on social media at 3am!

the really interesting period will start in about two to three weeks when all club nights in all venues will be up and running. I think the days of events being fully sold out in advance (as seen more and more in last two years) might be a thing of the past for a while and, as also mentioned on here, maybe we'll see 'comfier' dancefloors overall this summer, less sardine style packed clubs. it'd be nice tbh.

I've always wondered why Saturday nights always appear to be lighter than the other weekend options(and some week days) when there has been a real movement to weekend type trips, even from the younger crowd nowadays?

You have Elrow(Always a massive one), Black Coffee(A big one, but less interest from youngsters/mainstream), Flower Power(I don't know any younger people that have been, nor met anyone going, but think it's reasonably popular amongst the elder crowd) & Claptone at Chinois(Probably doesn't have as much pull from an 'unheard' of club for the youngsters/mainstream). Most trips I've been on I notice this as a night with not many options for a mainstream type of crowd.

the reason is: it's saturday night and a lot of the headliners want to play european clubs and festivals that night. fri and sat used to be 'weak' in ibiza long time ago when people could still afford to come for a full week (or more) and it's only lately where you see more headliners playing the island on the weekend as well now (especially sat night)

Thanks for the answer, makes sense. We might even use it as a down night this year, don't mind a night down at Itaca and it's an easier trade off vs €100 tickets for events you're less interested in.

John Summit confirmed for a one off at Ushuaia on Tuesday 9th September. Very happy about this one!
I honestly have NO idea, however Tuesday at Ushuaia has always been hard to fill - hence why they have Calvin there. Might be wrong - but maybe in September onwards they do not open? No idea though.

Welcome to forum too @LWiltshire
