What time will amnesia shut this year for do not sleep parties? Is it a strict 6am? And do they have last entry time as trying to pacha first for a few hours
 
Anyone else feel Amnesia is showing signs of desperation?
Probably get shot down on here for suggesting as such....
Their weekly offering is all over the place and somewhat niche given such a huge venue.
I suppose at least it isn't copy and paste like so many others.
Though I believe we are witnessing the downfall of amnesia.

Pyramid is a lucky dip.
eastenders was perfect for 528/cova santa
resistance is pyramid.
boiler room/mixmag lab should be a main room attachment.
amnesia presents is commercial, in a club that is dark and a little dirty.....

Why don't you do something really different.

How about offer a 4pm start day party. Maybe Pyramid? And give Pyramid some stability with the line-up.
Slap that down on a Saturday.
In the terrace with day light coming through.
Then get the main room open at 11pm - stick mixmag or boiler room on that

You want to replace the musicon night you lost. Pyramid has the potential.

Imo one of the problem of Amnesia is his size , with the competition on the island it’s not easy for them

Considering they lost pretty much their entire programme, I am in a minority where I think they pulled something together that is actually not that bad. How are they going to compete with TNL that will just pay insane money.

But I course, it is not anything like what they used to have in terms of weekly programming.
 
Maybe the Mixmag announcement doesn't blow the world away like a superstar headliner would, but if your immediate competition is already in bed with DJ Mag, then the collaboration makes a lot of sense.

Hopefully Grego can give us some juicy bits when he's next online
 
It's hard for Amnesia to compete in such a fast-changing competitive environment. Events of this size can't be done quickly and no one knows yet what will happen when the season starts and the doors open. It's clear that Amnesia is an underdog who should now rely on their own history, but dare to try something new. For example, taking on Boiler Room and Mixmag for the summer will bring great visibility, with the right target group, which they desperately need now. Trance nights aimed at the British audience will bring their own attention value. Maybe even reduced ticket and drink prices. The fact that some events don't last the whole summer also gives them room to move, but also security if someone flops completely. Maybe we'll even see surprises as the season progresses. They'll definitely have a challenging couple of years ahead of them, but they have a chance to overcome the challenges if they play their cards right.
 
I think Amnesia is doing the best they can. With every bigger DJ bought up by TNL what can they do? Give a 4 month weekly residency to a 'newcomer' and risk the club being empty? Why say no to popular promoters like Boiler Room or Mixmag if you have free days in your schedule? I have said this before, this is the season to try out fresh promoters and faces, throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. Build from there...

Yes. In my opinion They have made bookings that have no business being at Amnesia.

A serious identity crisis is how I would label it
