On the Bedouin to Chinois move....

It has to be said, well done to Club Chinois for signing them. While Sunday is absolutely insane in terms of competition, this night started there (when the venue was Heart), and was always the perfect Woomoon carry-on for Sundays.

On the flip side, Pacha have to ask themselves how they let this happen. They have become so professional and well oiled the last few years - and I get you can’t win them all, but in my opinion losing Bedouin/Saga that is so aligned to your brand is just amateurish. This should not have happened!

I get why Pacha continue with Flower Power as it’s a link to the past and an island locals favourite. But in 2025 I’d argue it’s something like Saga that aligns with where they should be heading. They should have moved it to Saturday, let it reach the next level. And now, it’s gone..

I’m not sure this was an amicable separation reading between the lines.

But I think they will get the “core crowd” it seems they desire in Chinois.

Wonder how they do going up against Solomun of a Sunday... I went to Frankey Wah once in 2023 and it was relatively busy but plenty of space to dance

I have said it before and maybe this is only a reflection of the way I was feeling but I had the impression that Bedouin weren't feeling it as much as in previous years last season as some of the people in attendance had changed and sorry to say, for the worse.
So, as much as I like Pacha as a venue I'm actually welcoming this change .
Chinois is a good venue, more intimate also with so much competition around on Sunday hopefully less crowded and with a more clued up audience.
I'm really looking forward to it.

PS: Chuffed it's not Hï 😂

I just laugh out loud when I think Pacha have replaced Bedouin with Blond:ish & Mau P.

I know, Saga was their "secret gem"!
I wonder what really happened there? Maybe Pacha wanted to inject some "fresh" stuff this season but Saga wasn't definitely the right event to get rid of , or maybe Bedouin themselves wanted to move on 🤷🏻‍♂️
