ibiza gossip 2025

good question as Ive got a ticket for October.

I'm guessing that all "Standard tickets gives you three drinks on arrival if you enter before 01:00 or one drink if you enter after"

Did they do drinks packages as well as that?

(so not the early or late arrival cheaper tix)
Well, it appears now that the main Spotlight has now changed the Chinois page and removed the above which was there when I bought my ticket.
There is also now an add on at the basket stage which states "Drinks are not included" which Im pretty sure wasn't there beforehand.
I'm still going regardless on 15/10, but It would have been nice to have had a response on thread or DM for a regular forum member.

Edit,
In fact, I did screenshot the official Chinois website just prior to booking with Spotlight and it showed the drinks deal, but went with the Spotlight tickets as a gesture of loyalty; one would have presumed the same deal. Looks like the club have pulled the offer now too for some reason. I won't post the image as Im thinking it will be taken down.

If you bought the ticket when the offer was on sale, then it will be honoured 100%

Might be a controversial opinion but Kevin and Perry last night was one of the worst I’ve been to. Musically it was bloody awful. Tried to get in to the terrace to see if it was any better but they had stopped letting people in to the discotheque and it looked like carnage in there too so I stayed put. Oakenfold put the final nail in the coffin for us and we bailed at around 3ish.

I guess the only positive was the number of people I bumped in to who I knew! Was nice to see @Sheffrb again - sorry I never made it back, trying to push through everywhere was a nightmare.

Not sure I’ll be back to this event again sadly.
Curious when you guys say awful, like was it cheesy track selection, or lazz mixing, or? It's a pretty atypical themed night so I am curious what went wrong....

I was pretty wavy last night and can't remember a great deal but the little I do, I totally agree with @fhmsparkle

Really odd music selections at various points from most DJs. Probably shouldn't come as any surprise, but Oakenfold in particular stunk the place out

All that said, i did have a jolly good time

Yes it is funny how it is so often stated that Oakenfold is a legend in the scene but even 20 years ago when he would appear at Cream Amnesia he would constantly allow himself to be distracted in the booth, would not engage with the crowd, and would put zero effort into track selection and mixes. Sounds like not much has changed

If I’ve come for a “Kevin and Perry” night I’m expecting late 90s trance bangers - which to be fair Seb Fontaine did drop a few of in to his set like Silence by Delerium. But having Chicane play one of the early sets - the tunes went nowhere. Then Oakenfold might have well as been playing a wedding disco by all accounts. A mix of Mr Brightside by the killers put the final nail in the coffin and I had to leave.

eden, markus schulz. lots of trance, tech trance. less vocals which a I like and he builds on tracks. sort of very ol’ fashion, cold hardbour style.
low busy. friendly cowd is my observation throught a alcoholl haze @ gt at 24€.
