Was the summer 2008 incarnation you reference the venue that used to be called Blu?
 
I know this is a bit of an ambiguous question and it's sort of an intangible one to answer, but.. I'm thinking of doing a one nighter for shits and giggles in a few weeks, with 23rd June looking a night that could work. Ben Hemsley opening is on this night at Amnesia - Would you expect this to be a busy night, given it's opening? A couple of years ago I came across in exactly the same week and the isle was really in a post openings/pre 'proper' summer lull, albeit clubs were still rocking, just looking at whether this would be a good one to target around that week.

maybe - I haven't checked because I don't know what year you were here in that period of time - it just happened to be the week after sonar/off sonar barcelona. this always has an effect on ibiza for a few days.

this year it doesn't clash with your dates.

as for the night in question, be my guest to guess... all big clubs will be open, including unvrs, and we'll only find out in a few weeks on how much of an impact this will all have.

(it hasn't been talked about much on here just yet, but unsurprisingly the friday night unvrs opened, everywhere else could be felt very clearly)
 
To bring the gossip back to gossip forum: Anybody know what happened in Adam Beyers family? He cancelled two gigs last weekend because of an 'emergency in the family', his ex Ida now cancelled a gig this coming Friday for "personal reasons". :(
