What time are Blue Marlin events usually?
Generally parties start at 5pm, main headliner will do 9-11 generally. Party really kicks into action 6.30/7 onwards I would say.
My best advice is book a restaurant table, it’s 25 Euro deposit each. Have some food there, then move into the danceflooor afterwards. It’s a great build up to the night.
I prefer that, to the Sun loungers, which could be a very long day, as you need to arrive at the Sun loungers before 2pm you see. Where as restaurant table you can arrive whenever.

49 euros for a beef coconut curry. Megalolz.

Starting to think it might be cheaper for all of us to put all our Ibiza spends in a kitty and buy our own island from another country and create our own rave island 😃 when will this madness end? (answer is of course when people start turning away from Ibiza)
Quite like the idea of Blue Marlin, looks like a nice setup and anything beachy is a plus. However, if we rock up on a busy Tong Sunday, I would fully expect to queue for ages, then be treated like scum as I'm not paying 1000€+ for my evening out and have to wait 2 hours for a cab back. Think I'd rather go to Murphy's

Exactly.

We now seem to be drifting into a world where its 100euros for a gig at Ushuaia, throw in just say 2 drinks at the venue (quiet night ;) ) a budget meal in Bossa and a Taxi and its easily about 250euros gone. Which isnt far off half a weeks average pay in Spain and UK. But more and more super rich keep turning up to replace us average joes, so what do I know.

Tickets for the big club nights and drinks in the venues have always been spenny...we used to (and still do) buy tickets in advance of the trips, sometimes months in advance, so that your holiday spends go further and aren't impacted by the tickets...

50 euros was the benchmark about 10 years ago, so if you look at it that way things aren't all that bad as you can still get into most nights for 60/70 euros or less if you buy the earlier tickets...it was also the case that you'd not be seen dead paying 50 euros to get into a club at home back then....there has always been a premium for Ibiza due to the seasonality.

Not trying to spark an argument here and you wouldn't catch me dead paying 100 euros to see Guetta or Calvin Harris but what you see is what you get and there are cheaper (and better options). I paid 55 euros to see Villalobos, Harvey, Hawtin etc in Amnesia coming up in September for perspective.

Emailed BM just out of curiosity to see what a table would cost us for a Sunday. Group of 10, minimum spend of 5000€. FIVE THOUSAND EUROS!
