Was watching Patrick Topping's vids from Hi on Insta.
Jeez, the music was all over the place - made me feel a 100 years old.
Still, that's why Ibiza is still so great, you can have a completely different clubbing experience elsewhere, even on the same night

His music isn't my cup of tea personally, gives me school disco vibes

Topping is a bit of a lose cannon... he will blend wacky tech house music with the odd chart track.

He went from Cirez D ON/OFF to Donk in the space of 2 tracks on Saturday

Agree. I was thinking the other day there are rarely any proper techno nights left in Ibiza. Pyramid, Capriati and Lens being the only ones really commited, with Pyramid having house acts as well. And sometimes the club room at Afterlife I guess. But that has watered down melodic techno as well.

Yeah, pyramid and afterlife back rooms are hit and miss, at least exhale is 100% techno!

Evening folks - I may be late to this and missed a lot of info but after seeing Sasha and digweed are on at SHEN opening @ club Chinois - I’m very tempted to change my plans.
What’s everyone’s thoughts, views and experiences at the venue? I’ve never been there so any help/advice/tips etc would be greatly appreciated

It's an upmarket club which targets the wealthier-end of Ibiza's clubbing fraternity. That said, the sound system is awesome and on the right night, you can have a great time. At 1,000 capacity, it's nice and intimate. More discussion here
