What do people think of the CamelPhat line-ups?
They have moved away from Afterlife a little, but still the likes of Fideles, Innellea, Massano, Bodzin etc who are all very much the Afterlife sound. Some nights are certainly more geared towards Innervisions (Henrik Schwarz, Jimi Jules, Ivory) and others have more of a progressive vibe about them.

Notable absence for me is Mind Against.

What do people think of the CamelPhat line-ups? I really like them. I actually thought they might go too far to the Afterlife side of things, but actually I think a good balance.

There is a bit (OK a lot some weeks) of cross-over there with the Bedouin/Saga line-ups on Wednesday, but it is a completely different audience - CamelPhat is likely to be the the first British heavy audience night at the Cherries since c.2018. Great to see the likes of Red Axes, Patrice Bäumel, Jan Blomqvist, WhoMadeWho and Stephan Bodzin play to probably a much younger audience than usual too.

Good to see Konstantin Sibold there too – who I think played with Solomun last year too.
Konstantin Sibold is incredible!

Yeah, that is why I think the balance is really good. I was a bit worried was just going to be Afterlife-Lite, but isn't.

Bought early birds once Stivi gave the word go for €30, and delighted got CPhat, Massano & Oostil.. Melodic dancing rhythms it is so on Tuesday 12th September this year. It’ll be pumping on that sound system. Still have certain tunes embedded in my brain since last summer. The clarity from those speakers 🔊 Anyway that’s another conversation altogether 😉…. Otherwise, l like the line ups from them this season..The answer to your question 😂

Both Konstantin Sibold and Patrice Baumel were excellent at Warm Up Festival last year. Great additions.

We’ve got WhoMadeWho on our date. They were amazing at Cova Santa last year.

It’s starting to get tricky to decide which nights to pick already 😂

I realy like the lineups good mix artists! One thing no one has mentioned though is that i think camelphat are gona smash the production side of things with the new hexagon screens at pacha wouldn't be surprised if they have been working very hard on that side things to give afterlife a run for there money?

What do I need to be looking for progressive?

David Guetta to Ben UFO is quite the transition

I say it every year, but we (and I include me too) get too obsessed about our genres.

I have friends that happily do Guetta, then end up in DC10 until 6am - and there are more than you think that do that combo!

Not everyone is obsessed with dance music purity and only being into x or y type - they on holiday and want a good time.

As they say... Diversity is the spice of life ;)
