Okay cool, I meant actually announcing the dates they were doing it rather than the lineup, as I’m booked to go end of July again this year which is when Carola played last year, so would’ve liked to have gone again

That’s an incredible list this year. Bringing in Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn, Black Coffee and a lot of others. Really appealing to everyone. Even though I prefer Techno, would still be interested in going to this.
Can’t remember if last year was as good as this?

Maceo Plex and THEMBA new additions, BC played Music On Destino but not Pacha in 2022, but Joris Voorn had a date last summer. Obviously no Capriati this year. Also absent is the Detroit guys and Danny Tenaglia.

oh and Gordo also a new addition

I think overall looks better this year IMO. Firstly, you got to hand it to Marco that he never seems to ‘skip a date’ like a lot of DJs do (though Solomun the same too). Has he actually ever missed a MusicON party since it started in 2012?

Good to see a few newer names in there, and a few names I would have put more on the Bedouin line-ups maybe e.g. Themba, Black Coffee. A few dates I think almost identical to last year (both line-ups and dates) e.g. Seth must love the last Friday of September. As @W_I_C said - no Joseph Capriati, so assume we might see him pop up again elsewhere on some Fridays.

If I recall there was a real Detroit heavy night last year with Stacey Pullen and Carl Craig, don’t think either there this year (hopefully they might pop up with Marco elsewhere).

Overall though they just nail what they do so I would imagine road-blocks most weeks.
 
Good news for my purse thinking to invite my bro aktarus nrv along 1 date among 3 for music on, gonna resell my tix..was expecting some techno legends Derrick may, kevin saunderson, Carl Cox..... 😆

Interesting that there's no Joseph Capriati on that line up, he's usually a Music On regular, does this mean he's taking the Friday night slot at Amnesia? Reason I say this is because Jamie Jones hasnt appeared at Music On Ibiza since the Paradise move to Amnesia, maybe Amnesia are banning their DJ's from playing with Marco after he fell out with Amnesia?

I think Capriati had 3 dates at Amnesia Friday's last year, and he also played at MusicOn too (only once I think).

Maybe he will be doing more than 3 this year?
 
How young is the crowd at Music On? We’ve not really considered it before but we have the Themba date for one of our trips this year which is interesting.
 
So.... also looks like the Pacha & Storytellers party from last year El Baile lives another day at Cova Santa on Friday 01 Sep!

obviously things move on and artists sounds change, but its so noticeable with Carola. Some of the acts on this years schedule in comparison with Music On a few years ago - must be like night and day.
