without honestly knowing, I'd say they might be tempted by a week earlier than last year, but I'd be surprised if it was any earlier. The June dates last summer took a while to get into gear. That was surely a combo of it being June in a general and also the fact Paradise was in a new home, but it's also true that the profile of party which Paradise comes under is a "September crowd"

When it was at DC10 I don't think it ever opened much earlier than the start of July, right?
 
let's not forget it's sonar/off-week in barcelona mid june. my gut feeling tells me paradise will start right after that.

I really want to say that I am sure I went to Paradise in June at DC10 but that is going back some...
I don't feel like it has ever been on early June though and I question why it wouldn't be?
Paradise is the musicon Amnesia lost and historically that party has been and still does well from start to end of a season so surely there is a market for it? I mean Pyramid is a party that is still really establishing itself and their opening party is mid june so who knows?

Because I am really sad, and have all the lineup pictures saved on my phone.... towards the later part of it's DC10 residency it usually started around that ~20 June mark. However, in 2019 it actually started 12 June.

in 2019, paradise's last year at dc10, they opened on 12 june.

last year, it started on 22 june at amnesia.

I'd guess 21 june for this year, the wednesday right after sonar/off-sonar.

The big difference is those parties = weekend crowd, Paradise = slap bang middle of the week

and it makes a huge difference just in terms of tourists numbers on the ground which filters through to clubs

I seem to remember going to a couple of opening parties for Paradise in DC-10 and it was the first week of July. Definitely 2013, not so sure about 2017.

correct, in the first years of paradise it only opened at the start of july. then in the later years at dc10 it was mid to end of june
 
I always think that Euro/World Cup years play a bit of a factor on some nights in late June /July when I have been - can range from "OMG England/Spain won" so everyone over the moon.... or flat as one has lost (I know there are other teams too)! No issue this year though, but next Euros in 2024.

100% agree! The fact that I absolutely love her old man Jellybean (both from his early Madonna production days) and as a DJ has nothing to do with the fact I think she is a brilliant DJ in her own right. She totally nails it the few times I have seen her - completely one to watch. And also makes any gay man question their sexuality, as she is absolutely stunning too.
