Heard an interesting rumour about Franky Wah closing on 1 October. I think there might be some unannounced b2b action during the night
 
First time going to closings - specifically Pyramid and DC-10 - can we expect the mornings to go longer than 6am - or is it getting shutdown "early" like any other night?

Usually the late closings happen specifically for the club closings rather than for the individual nights. So Amnesia closing may go until midday for example as they have to get special permission from the council that is usually reserved only for club openings/closings. For this reason they may be less likely to try their luck with a later closing for a normal night as it could jeopardize them getting the special permit...that hasn't always stopped Amnesia in the past mind...

A warning....I went to the EXCELLENT Pyramid closing last year which also culminated in a Villalobos/Luciano b2b. It ended VERY abruptly at 6.30am and it was total chaos. They were obviously told to shut it down. This meant the entire club emptied out to a woefully under-prepared taxi queue. We could see what was happening so (regretfully) grabbed an illegal cab while there was still one there. We waited more than 2 hours for some of our group to join us back at the hotel. Needless to say they were in no mood to continue the party when they arrived. Apparently it was mayhem.
Do with this information what you will....

Eden / Abode on the 24 sep was really poor in my opinion. Half full maybe.

GW Harrison got the mood going, but then ..

Ellie Cocks took over. A lot of tweeking and little control of sound levels, modern tech house is sort of that way in nature but this was lack of flow, lack of funk, and lack of coherent music.
She even dropped the ball and lost the crowd on a chopped up sure-hit-sing-along-hands-in-the-air-anthem «Im every woman».

Richy Ahmed has a lot of skill and saved bits of the night in the end. Some bits.
 
Sorry. Question about the beach clubs and cafes . Sa Trinxa isnt open during winter I think. When will it close ? End of october ? Last year it was the 24 oct , I think. Jockey club is open during the winter at weekends , I think. Is it true ?
In Eivissa everything is open ( Croissant show , Petite vermout and so on ) between winter ?

not sure about the specific date for sa trinxa, it usually also depends on the weather, but def not open after end of october.
yes jockey club stays open on weekends.

ibiza town very very quiet, but some bars and restaurants do of course stay open. best is around plaza de parque usually.

Its clos to the end of the season. 2 weeks ago , the area around olivo was full of people at the evenings. The quieter time begins now.

Are events actually selling out for this weekend? Or will there be tickets on the door / in hotels. Finding it out that some have stopped selling tickets.

she’s terrible. Last time I ended up having to see her for a bit it was constantly using the effects and terrible use of the RMX unit with out of time loops / drumrolls.
