Sorry more questions about closing....trying to figure out which weekend to go to.
Does HI closing have the late closing time? Like Amnesia?
Also it seems pretty close to the predicted afterlife closing - or does that not matter?
Out of interest - what time does afterlife tend to finish - tempted to do that and hi closing in a long weekend trip.

yes hi closing is usually a late one.

not sure re afterlife, maybe a bit later than usual, but not a proper proper late one AFAIK
 
Evening folks - this is a strange on really as it’s my 8th time going to Ibiza but for some reason I’ve only just noticed that in the amnesia tickets (purchased on spotlight as always) we have for Amnesia Presents opening this coming Monday, it says “trousers are a must”
Does anyone have any views on this as we’ve always worn shorts
We also have Glitterbox tickets for this Sunday so assuming the usual shorts/T-shirt is fine?
Doesn’t ever seem to get a second thought in previous years but for some reason, it’s planted a little seed in my brain this time..
Is there any feedback on the island based on how clubs are in general and how busy it is? Seems a bit strange this season as mixed reports so far.

Have you bought balcony tickets for Amnesia?
Otherwise shorts are fine.
If you do have balcony tickets I would advise wearing long trousers. It isnt always enforced, however if you want to be sure simply follow the guidance. All it takes is a member of staff who's had a bad day and they will be militant
Nothing worse than having to travel back to change. Believe me, I've been there. Numerous times

Thanks, fortunately we’re down sweating with the commoners so no balcony access this time.
We did the same at Elrow last year, found a great spot and had a great time with a load of strangers!
They barely spoke English but we had a blast together all night! The power of clubbing (and some other stuff) eh?!
 
There’s a blank Monday at Hi on Mon 11th Sept while I’m out, presume Prydz is elsewhere. Is there likely to be something big added in his place?

Holo / Prydz closing party is the week before on 4th Sep.

Hï doesn’t always fill empty nights once residencies finish. Though something might be announced nearer the time.
 
Any idea when Namaste normally drop their line-ups for the season? Wednesdays are looking pretty poor so far elsewhere (Tech House overkill). Not heard of any of the other DJs on Amelie Lens night when I'm there (6th Sept) so a real chance for Namaste to turn my head.

Not sure we can call Bedouin @ Pacha and Exhale @ DC10 ‘tech house’. In terms of not having heard of any of the DJs on the line-up.. that’s part of the fun of discovering new DJs. I love it when I have no idea who they are and they blow you away. You become a mini-groupie for life then.

I actually think a lot of clubs aren’t getting enough credit for actually trying to give some less well known DJs a look-in this season. Circo Loco are adding some great new DJs, Pyramid @ Amnesia, Niiwa @ Chinois to name a few.
