look at it this way - the clubs are opening at the end of april. that's the earliest they've EVER opened. at the same time a lot of the big residencies won't start until mid june. to fill that gap I think we might see a lot of smaller scale parties, mini-residencies and resident nights popping up. it will of course depend on how the openings go and I guess a lot of those nights will be announced quite late, but if the forecast is good the clubs definitely won't wanna stay shut 3-4 nights of the week for 6 weeks (end of april until mid june) if they can open and make some money.

it's not even easter yet, give them some time to dish out the remaining big residencies first, once that's done we'll see more 'fillers' (not meant in a negative way) being announced.

at least that's what I think will happen.

That sounds great, I hope you are right and my (more uninformed) thinking was along similar lines. Coming early in the season when there’s one-off and more random parties has always been a great time to get over to Ibiza - it will be interesting to see if that happens in this longer, different season layout. Given that people have basically not been able to party for three years in Ibiza you’d hope and expect the demand would be there, so it will be cool to follow what gets announced closer to the time.

Maybe it’s a 2 room event? I mean they’ve had Ellen Allen at one of their events before + Spencer Parker at their Wategate later this month. So you’re aren’t putting them in the same room as the horses I assume?
 
HMD will be a helluva party if people turn out, a throwback to the carnival-esque golden years. I went to a few of the Vauxhall Sunday sessions in London years ago. Usually a 70-30 gay-straight ratio, although may be different in IBZ? A very tolerant and inclusive vibe - for women too - not one of those "what are YOU doing here?" venues. Musicwise spot-on, totally clued up. all the best DJs have played there, Fulton, Harvey, Prins Thomas, everybody.. everything from NY disco to chuggers to italian classics to dark house. And I have to thank HMD's Severino for tipping us off about the lovely Pepita's guesthouse near Salines back in 2013. A regular guest there for years.

We probably crossed paths years ago in Vauxhall! Some of those parties were brilliant before that music became popular again! @Tourist I think you'd love a He.She.They party too. It is not 100% the type of scene I do much, but it's a truly poly-sexual party... not fake poly, but real. In a way I think it has a touch of where Dixon was trying to take Transmoderna too - I see some cross-over in the parties.

Yea I guess they would be in a separate space.
 
Hi, coming out early this year, 6-11 June. Should I count on the party calendar filling up a bit that week? Also, keen to check out Akasha. Anyone know if they might throw parties during the week in the summer? Thanks!

Will be open as a night-time venue or as a after ? ( i went once or twice in the morning some years ago after solomun at pacha, he played till midday or something both time if I remember well )

Not what I would have expected at Tox.

Denial Events group between 14th June and 30th September. Events will be tailored to a wide array of genres and styles, from underground house and techno to trance, amapiano, Latin jazz and more. Event showcases will come from a range of leading labels and event brands such as Transmix by Transmission, Axtone, Armada, Revealed and Coldharbour.
