Hi all - I've been reading this tread with interest for a while. My group of (ahem ’approaching’ middle age) friends had started an annual summer trip to Ibiza pre pandemic because of Sasha and Digweed playing together again at the resistance nights. Is there any hope of them playing together elsewhere on the island this summer? I know there's probably lots of other enjoyable nights (and can see Digweed is on at dc10 on a tbc Tuesday) but it's hard to motivate a group who perhaps aren't as into the music without the traditional draw.

It's certainly no given, but if you're flexible with dates, I'd wait to see if maybe the Renaissance date/s (selected Fridays at Amnesia) pull it out of the bag. Nothing announced yet

Beyond that, I think it's unlikely they play together elsewhere, though I'd love to be wrong (what I wanna see is an ANL b2b in Pacha!)

Sasha will surely pop up several times at different locations much more than John will

Has anyone done the VIP palm area in Ushuaia? What’s it like? We’re there for a hen weekend so wanted it to be a bit special but not much info on it online or through reservations. Maybe it’s new?

Nahh nothing to do with getting old mate. There’s just not a lot of diverse line ups this summer it’ a fact. In saying that some of the Pyramid line ups look decent but as for weekly events Pyramid and Circoloco are the only two that would interest me atm and we used to be spoiled for choice on a nightly basis!

God..I used to love Sasha and John Digweed back in the day. They're the reason (along with Graeme Park) I got into house music (and its various genres) so much. Off topic I know bt Digweed is doing an event at Manchester Cathedral (which if I'm correct has never hosted an event before) on Fri June 3rd. Should be pretty special I think/hope.
 
Solomun's season will start in 1 week and no line up announcements, at least Bedouin's Saga announced the general line up, but Pacha seems to be quite slow with announcements this year if i am not wrong.

I’ve been to gigs at Manchester Cathedral but don’t think there has ever been a club night there before…DJ booth set up in the middle of the cathedral apparently, should be immense.
