This might be a silly question (or not), but is there a risk of club tickets for some big events (eg opening parties) getting sold out beforehand?

In other words, is there a STRONG case for getting them as early as possible online, vs. closer to the time/at the door? (I’m thinking the likes of S+1 openings...)

Elrow sells out but people still turn up and get in on the night after a short wait in a queue.... which ruins the party for everyone but the promoter/owner.

U will always find tickets for ibz parties even for the popular one but u will pay +20/30€ from regular price at bars or at doors if u buy them day one. they really don't give a shit if place is rammy (DC10, elrow amnesia) it's all about the €€€€
For opening i only advice to buy Ims Dalt vila & DC10 opening, as price will rise & some early bird if sure to go at this party
Elrow opening tix is same as regular (60€, raise of 10€ from last year ) for the opening, not the case for closing where it raise (& peak season)...

This. The ticket touts on Bossa beach make it sound like every night is a sellout and only they can get you in. In reality Ibiza clubs have elastic walls ;)

Would say pre buying is worth it for boat parties though. Some of those early bird offers with club entry and free drink on board are bargains!

HE.SHE.THEY. non-binary, gender-fluid London party, one-off at Pacha on 22nd May

Yep. Just saw on FB.

Interesting move for Afterlife.

After my 2 disappointing ventures at In The Dark at Hi last year I said Id not return to the club unless I heared things changed. There was no atmosphere, sound wasn't right and it was far too bright.

I'm hoping this night turns things round and I might be tempted to return.

Sorry I might have missed this but is In The Dark dead then?

do not compare both nights.

i see that afterlife at hi is a replacement for enter space

That can't be a bad thing mate - some of the ENTER. lineup's were decent, but Hawtin is enough to bore me to tears most of the time!

Any announcements due today? It's a bank holiday over here today so a little harder to keep checking back but I know the easter bank holiday weekend has in the past pulled out some decent news e.g the Cocoon season roster.

i never said its bad.

i see their names as the only "pure" techno night on the island this summer.

waiting for mondays @ amnesia.

Let’s face it, Enter was a fantastically marketed event (probably one of the best we’ve seen) and it worked. Musically, first year was good and then downhill from there

I don‘t think it got worse musically (not for me at least)

You’re right. I was being a bit flippant. I was trying to say the buzz went out of the night and year 2 was probably better to be fair. Then, for me, it got a bit stale although I’d caveat that was only one night. All am saying is that their marketing was amazing...

agreed their marketing was good. but despite that and the fact they had massive line ups, it still lost its spark pretty quick

i used to leave ushuaia/opening closing when the headliner take the decks (warm up djs play more my kind), i will be happily surprised if i can stand more than 20mn of Ritchie mix along Ants opening part 2 may 27th :D

And I think resistance for example is top drawer...we will see...and this is why we love Ibiza...it all changes...let’s see what happens next. Still love it and always will

I wonder if there will be any PLAYdifferently nights at Amnesia Mondays this year? Or will Richie play more regularly as part of Cocoon?
