Yes Carl Cox at Amnesia...sounds like 4 special dates.. 2 in July and 2 in August.. there could be some last minute surprise though and a full throttle increase ..we shall see!

I’d guess that it would be on a Monday as a Pure Carl Cox take over, with the likes of Drumcode and and a few other labels, perhaps 100% JC, Mosaic etc filling other Monday night slots throughout the season.

Actually, I think modern 'trance' and 'trouse' are about identical these days. Trouse is basically the combination of 'Big Room House' (Or as Beatport used to define it, progressive house*) and Trance.

But... Trance has picked up so many of the big room elements (huge drops, huge buildups, breakdowns that have little to do with the rest of the track), that trance and trouse sort of feel like the same genre these days. Trouse just tends to be slowed down, under 135bpm, and trance is 135+ bpm.

However, this isn't Ibiza gossip...

Waiting for Cream Ibiza to announce (or one of the brands taking over the Thursday) they are not doing anything.

I agree to a point. Moreover what was trance isn’t trance anymore. The word has lost its identify in music terms imo.
