I'm surprised they haven't tried to get in on the Tropical House trend (Sigala, Sam Feldt, Kygo and all that) as there surely isn't a better club to host it than one that looks like a tropical garden centre!

Sven doesnt miss many nights at Cocoon, but if I got a Cocoon date on my visit with a lineup like last year (Sonja/Villalobos terrace, HS82, Ben UFO, Joy Orbison main room) I would likely give this a go.

I think people will go to Space this year regardless of what they put, assuming this party's venue will be Space (would make sense since we've seen Monday Space bookings by likes of Harvey Mckay and Slam). We'll find out 4/21 i guess.
 
Darius Syrossian has posted an event on Facebook for Space 27th birthday on 24th July, not sure if this is already posted somewhere :)

attended sonja/ ricardo last summer and it was perfect.

sonja's music a bit new to me but it fits ricardo perfectly.
 
Too much obsessing over line ups for my liking this pre season :rolleyes:
I've been to cocoon and found out on entry Sven is doing a gig in Germany and still amnesia went nuts while the music drove the crowd!
I'm sure it's similar for lots of 'brands'/'nights' on Ibiza over the season, for me a reliable brand on any given night means a f***ing good time should/will be had by all and I get that folk 'need' the DJ a b or c BUT the brand/label throwing a party at any venue follows the same philosophy so I pick nights based on that more then if 'shrillex' or whatever is playing when I'm booking flights.
Sorry for the rant just getting f***ed off reading about certain DJ's that 'must be playing' on their trip. Ffs just go and let go and stop over obsessing and you'll probably enjoy it not having to be there for the main 'geezer' cause you don't know who they are and you might leave your phone in your pocket and let go without trying to look at yourself the whole time :cool:

I kind of agree but nobody wants to risk spending a small fortune on a holiday ruined by hearing shit music. That's the problem with having branded events. It turns us into picky consumers and it is bollox because back in the day nobody cared but that was when you paid a fiver to go to your local rave..
 
I've been raving long enough to know the difference a good DJ can make to my night compared to a shite one. It's fair enough to want decent ones playing when I'm spending a small fortune on an escape from the world for a few days.

Sasha, Cox or Tenaglia could deliver the best night of my life, others....just won't. And I know that, so yes, I'm a little obsessed with it!!

I have never managed to see Danny Tenaglia play live, still hold out hope though!
