I dont understand the longer season. The weather wont be better^^. Also the stress for the locals is longer. And we all know that the government is against the ravers. So why not a shorter season, but more Party hard season
 
Bit gutted as was looking forward to Amnesia opening... but won't ruin our time over that weekend.... :twisted:

The motto which we all should live by. Unfortunate answer again is money, even a little more money over longer timeframe is better or at least have to believe thats how these clubs feel.

btw amnesia opening will have a much better lineup without WE ARE FSTVL and Movement happening on the same weekend.

something you'd think they'd have noticed before announcing the first date

I can't speak for the "locals", so please somebody correct me if I am speaking shi_te here - but surly a longer season May-October is better for the local economy. And with now 3 opening weekends, the numbers of people will be spread across all of May. Sankeys will now have a few nights from 01 May - end October, Pacha has always opened EVERY night from 01 May (just the main parties start later in the month). Even last year Pacha started INSANE pre parties on Friday from 08 May.
 
...and why are tickets only available on the door - no presale? I'm sure I had bought in advance last time I went to amnesia opening....Sounds like they are lining their pockets...
