now taken over by the people behind can tixedó in buscastell so expect some of the best tapas in town...

We would just like to take this opportunity to announce our retirement from Winchs, as you all know it has been a hard few years since dad died and we now feel the time is right to give up the bar. So from this weekend it will be our our last weekend in Winchs, it has been a very hard decision but as a family we feel we have made the right one..

The bar will reopen saturday 2nd Feb under new management and some great new ideas but primarly keeping with pub/restaurant theme showing all live sport al beit with a new name aswell, we have known the new owners for a number of years and wish them all the best in there new venture..So it will be great to see you all this weekend especially sunday our official leaving party..And thank you all so much for your support over the last 12 years..It will be sad initially but at least we will have plenty of time to meet you at the other side of the bar for a change!!Thank you again..Carol..Debbie..Craig n karen.xxxx

there's a rumour that has been circulating for a while saying one the big clubs is for sale. can this be true? well, it is... eden is for sale for 12 million euros :!:

in related news, last year there was talks of turning it into an all-inclusive club like bcm in magaluf: you only pay an entrance fee and then that's it, you don't have to continually payout for drinks...
