The place they call the 'Old Zoo' never was actually used as a zoo- the actual zoo was further down the main road (but on the same side).

Actually there are poisonous insects on the island but they are not fatal!!! I know, I was bitten by one in 1992 that made my joints swell up and made me very ill for a few days. The bite (which was on my left wrist) had a jet-black, perfectly circular bruise around it.
