Neighbours Suggest That Discos Should Be Moved.
At their annual meeting the neighbourhood association reminded the authorities about a report released in 2005, which seemingly suggested that one of best solutions to the continual traffic chaos & other related problems in the village of Sant Rafael would be to re-locate the big discos in the area to another, more suitable location.
The neighbours went on to complain that in their opinion the discos were not closing at 06h as the law supposedly states & wondered why the authorities were not taking any action.
The neighbours also reported a new phenomenon this year, which is apparently that lots of clubbers are parking on the area where the motorway building works are taking place near the village to drink alcohol & have a party at night before going on to an organised event.
This activity is creating lots of dirt, accumulating waste & often the cars of those attending the "road works parties" are parked blocking the entrances to neighbours properties.
