went for a record $14 million at a charity auction Saturday.
Saeed Khouri, a member of a wealthy Abu Dhabi family,
wouldn't say how many automobiles he owned or which of them
might carry the record-breaking single-digit plate.
“I bought it because it's the best number,” said Khouri,

10:00 am: Gathering of the drivers to hand out race numbers
at the Marina Botafoch in Eivissa.
10:45 am: Start of the vintage car rally.
12:15 am break in Sant Josep with vintage car show.
5:30 pm: end of race in the Marina Botafoch.
friday, 21st march
day 2
10:30 am: Start of the north tour, which is expected to end at around
5:30 pm in the Marina Botafoch.
Prize giving ceremony afterwards.
saturday, 22nd march
day 3
10:00 am: Vintage Car show at the Marina Botafoch in Eivissa.
11:30 am: prize ceremony for best restoration job, condition for age and period.
12:30 am: The cars drive up to the Eivissa town hall in Dalt Vila
for wine, tapas and traditional folk dancing.
8:00 pm: Closing party with a buffet at the fair ground (recinto ferial) in Eivissa
