Ibiza calling vs Be at Space

Heading out in 2 weeks! :) CAN'T WAIT! We only have one night out (being responsible parents and all that). I can't decide between Monday (25/6) or Wednesday (27/6) at Space.

My hubby loves Sanchez, and I must admit I used to really like him until I saw him at Amnesia 2 years ago. It was too slow for me (also the club was not really full & it was cold so that probably didn't help the situation). I saw Funkagenda last year and absolutely loved the sound and energy. As I've said on a previous thread, I don't know many of the other dj's playing with Sanchez on the monday, and the only guy I've heard from Toolroom is Funkagenda (and Mark Knight via podcasts etc).

We're out again in August - just the two of us - so we can party a little harder then, but for now, I'm trying to make the best choice. Don't want to be disappointed.

Thanks for any opinions / advice.

Never seen Mark Knight & Co, so would be keen, hubby prefers Sanchez sound so I'm still stuck trying to convince him!!

just noticed this, on all the BE line ups the headliners are listed as playing in the Terraza and the Sunset Terrace, does this mean the other rooms won't be open? I've only been to Space for Carl Cox and We Love... but I assumed they operated all the rooms every night? is this not the case? and even if they were using only select rooms, why would BE not put the main artists in the Discoteca? this could dramatically affect my Wednesday plans.....

This means they will only open those rooms, Wed & Saturday night are not that good in Ibiza IMHO, I will be going to Be/Toolroom Knights or Sankeys. However you will get to hear top DJ's right up and personal. :D

The Discoteca isn't open for BE, the line ups and rooms are as you see them with only the Terraza and Sunset Terace used. I went two weeks ago and although it was a good night neither rooms were full and its the quietest I've seen Space. It felt a little strange as I'm also used to Carl Cox's revolution and We Love which are always busy. This might change as the season goes on though.

Ended up going to Ibiza calling. It was soooo sh*t! Unfortunately hubby didn't want to "risk" Be as always been a fan of Sanchez. Music was awful. So up & down, no flow between songs. Some underground techy deep house stuff, then some commercial sounding r&b type pretend rap. Atmosphere was non-existent. Not a party vibe at all & the place was dead. Never seen space so empty. It was our only night out too, but hopefully we'll make up for it in August!
