ibiza 2019 observations

In earlier days Cox often played funky Sets with House Elements. I remember Sets at Space. In YouTube you can find dancetrippin Clips with him.
He used to play a lot of house sets on the 90s. He once did a weekend in Manchester playing house all Friday night and techno all Saturday night. He’s not really my cup of tea but he’s the dj whose popularity has endured at the highest level more than any other imo.

Apart from Tantra could anyone suggest me which other bars/pubs on PDB are nice for some drinks before clubbing? Preferably with music

agree with Mashed.

based on people's experiences this summer, which DJs are mixing it up the most (in terms of different sounds, genres etc)?

I’ll say I have a new found respect for Skream after his Disco set at Pikes. I’d always slightly dismissed him, but he can mix. You realise how good some of these guys actually are.

Saw Laurent Garnier twice this summer ( even three with timewarp in April )and was incredible! Long set the 3 times . Play old , new , techno , house , disco and everything between even dubstep ... but nothing new about him playing like this

Great dj, saw him play all night in the annexe at Nation in L'Pool on my birthday about 2006-ish, absolutely brilliant, only other time was him doing his LBS thing in a warehouse in Newcastle that still to this day is talked about and gives me the shivers how good that was

Yeah is isn't really for me but he does have insane skills you can tell he loves it as well.
He has that 90's thing about his energy and what I would imagine those days were like. Off the rails
