The vibe in DC10 is shocking. Always overcrowded & no room on the dance floor. My phone and wallet were stolen out of my bag last year, at the start of the night when I was fairly sober. The bouncers and club didn’t not want to know when I told them. They are all in on the taxation and theft in my opinion.
Pacha you regularly see the bouncers in the middle of the dance floor just standing in amongst it looking for some daft c*** to take a dip out a bag or reach into his pockets.
Toilet cubicles for taking anything and take your own stuff in. Even passing about mates is a right f***ing sketch on
Back in the day you could skin up and nobody would say much in certain places

I’m feeling that the bouncers have to be hard. This party was always known for blatant drug taking long time ago. And they was getting a lot of grief because of this back in the noughtys. with all the social media nowadays they can’t afford to be so obvious, very easy to be on video taking a cheeky bump or necking a pill so they have to be tough. I think People just need to be a bit more discreet when taking stuff.

I certainly smelled weed being smoked in at least one club last year.

I don’t get why security in Ibiza clubs are that strict. The island is obviously pretty lax when it comes to this sort of thing, so why is club security the opposite? Does the police put that much pressure on them? Doubtful, must be security ego.

Folk need to wise up though. That’s the craic so be vigilant and careful and stick to the cubicles. In Pacha the toilets to the right of the box at bottom of the stairs and near the side garden outdoor area are a good spot to head to. Just a wee woman in there and plenty cubicles. Mental doing anything out in the open.
Aye have smelt the same but will be pre rolled and sneaked in.

no the island isn‘t lax. if a policeman sees you doing anything, you won‘t get away.
cue the clubs can‘t be lax neither, least so dc10 who in the past had gotten shut for being too permissive / not strict enough

Absolutely agree. I remember the days when it was some of the Hells Angels who done the door and folk including them would be hoofing off the bar etc.
Was talking last year to a group of English chaps and one particular loud mouth identified himself as a Leeds casual. Didn't like me apparently due to me being Scottish with an Irish name... Usual shite but laughed it off as guys I was with were chaps you wouldn't choose to mix it with...
Anyway, about 4am I see all the security from the terrace go into the garden and they are absolutely smashing the English blokes to pieces, guy who identified as the Leeds casual was being held up by one of the Eastern Euro looking boys who do the door and another one was smashing him square in the chops.
Asked another boy what happened and he said one of the boys tried it on with Eats Everything's Mrs (who believe it or not was an absolute bit of kit). Boys got warned off but kept at it and then the call was made and they were obliterated!
Don't lile seeing that kind of thing but moral of the above is of you get a warming of these guys or boys who do the door anywhere then take it, swallow your pride and f*** off quickly!

Absolutely detest with a passion, one of the worst crimes you can commit in my eyes now, but we left Amnesia one lunchtime in a car and my pal drove round the first roundabout the wrong way trying to get back to San An.
Cop on motorcycle saw it, pulled us all out, smiled and honestly politely asked how many pesetas (shows how long ago it was) we had, relieved us of every one of them and in broken English said "go home now". Funny when I think back to those days and how busy the car park of Amnesia was!

No idea what sort of cash these boys are on but you need money to get that size and a few chicken breasts a day won't cover it....
Let's be absolutely honest to f***? If they do tax you 50 what the f*** are you going to do about it? Complain to who? Either pay it, get back in or admit defeat and head back to the hotel....
Gicentme a good idea actually for September... Get caught after being in for 10 mins and then I can head back to the hotel for a real party!

It's (not) funny to read these stories about DC-10 when I think about the nights I spent there during the winter 97... ?
Well, I guess they are more lax about selling than doing, which is the opposite of where I’m from.
I still don’t think there is a reason to have 20 elevated bouncers in DC10’s terrace harassing anyone who reaches into their pocket. Gotta be a better way.
