alrite ppl, me and a few m8s are goin out to ibiza on the 28th june canny wait 8O but a need 2 ask a qucik Q, were not really into tht type of music just yet as weve never been before but am starting 2 like it, the stuff they play in the clubs there but we were jst wondering if use could tell use a few quality cd's we should buy before we go so we can listen to them to get in the mood fur goin out at nite while in ibiza in our apartments:lol:

Try buying cd's by any of these labels/promoters:

Kiss in Ibiza
Ministry of Sound
Space Ibiza
Defected
Cream Ibiza


There's loads of cd's out, just go into your local HMV, look in the Dance section, and any cd's which have "Ibiza" on them, and are current i.e 2005/2006 should give you an idea of what kind of music is played in most of the bars/clubs.

I just picked up Satoshi Tomiie's Renaissance 3D compilation and am quite enjoying it.

Check out the Mixes section of the forum as a lot of our resident DJs have posted their mixes of the latest tunes which you could download (for free!) and either burn onto a disc or load into your MP3 player.
 
quick word of advice m8;) .

if you post in 'proper' english then you'll be more likely to get a better response.

my opinion, considering you're not really into 'that' type of music:

buy something like Ministry's "clubbers guide to ibiza" or get one of the 'Miami Winter Music Conference' compilations by Azuli and defected. the miami cds will be very similar to whats gonna be playing on the island this summer

Get ready to open your mind and be blown away!!! I was a fan my first year but didn't really know toooo much.... it was my first Ibiza trip that sealed the addiction to this music.
 
ano this is abit old but wat do use think of Cream Ibiza Classics has any 1 got this cd wot do they think of it, a bit of a review would be good, like would it be worth buyin to take away with me:)
 
I would get the Hed Kandi compilations to break you into things gently and then may be move on to the Subliminal Sessions compilations.

Subliminal Sessions 9 by Erick Morillo is the latest and it kicks ass.
 
Ive got the Cream Ibiza Classics cd. Tbh, its not wots played in clubs very often. That compilation is old songs mainly aswell. If u aint in2 the music, dont worry so much, cos ull get the vibe, feeling and atmophere when ur there!
