IBIZA 2004 - Some observations, How was it for you??...

What about places like Underground which is also free and not too expensive for drinks? I was there for Craig Richards the other Thursday and it's such a top venue.

Oh and events like Sunday Best and nastydirtysexmusic?

The spirit of Ibiza will live on!

Underground is cool. Its possible it will turn out the way of DC10 though?

Nastydirty had their partys stopped and moved to the red room. -Not such a bad thang though :)

I'm worried they are gradually pricing out the normal punters and trying to attract the richer crowd. Drinks prices are getting out of control

BUT .. if it has to stop .. then at least I've done it ... Things have to move on .. just glad I got there before it did.

I completely agree, life goes on, things change, we may not like it but its called progress. I'm really interested to see what new/different things are around next year

Its been another great year for me, but there's been a definite downturn in some respects. I did get to play out there for the first time, and, whatever happens next year, I'll always be able to say I did that :)

Space on Sunday was still as good as ever, esp with the new roof terrace, and DC10 was off the scale.

Will be gutted if Bora Bora is gone for good, but esp gutted for friends of mine who were out this year and didn't make it there. :(

I'm heading back out on the 2nd for Space/DC10 closing (if there is one) and I'm going to do what I do every time - treat every one as if it is my last.

This was my first visit to Ibiza so I cannot compare it with previous years. I had a magnificient time even though I was flabbergasted to find out that Bora Bora didn't play music and also didn't understand why they would call Space's terrace a terrace since it was covered. I realize now that those were very recent "developments", and that makes me really sad.

I will be going back next year though, I think it'll take longer than a year to kill the spirit of Ibiza...

Despite a few hiccups Ibiza was great this year. But me and my friends have already decided that next year we'll only be going a week or maybe just 4-5 days. I mean: what's there to do? We Love, Underwater/YoshiToshi, ... that's it for us, basically. BoraBora was well suited to visiting several times, but I don't see myself going to Space or Pacha three times per week.
