Hi everyone:p
me and my friends are coming this september to ibiza (first time)!
we have absoloutly no idea where we should stay- whether in San Antonio or Ibiza town? where is all the fun for young people? do any of you have recomendations for cheap hotels/hostels that are in the center of happening?
and if we don't have a car to go around the island, is that a problem?
thanks in advance!!!

i'd start by looking around this

i'd say san an is the best place for value for money accomm with plenty of stuff going on.

you don't need to hire a car as public transport and taxis are cheap and efficient but a car will allow you to access the more magical and beautiful parts of the island.

Cool - September is the best time to go IMO. I'd agree - stay San An side but find somewhere in the Bay if you can. People think it's more expensive but there's plenty of cheap accommodation and some nice beaches and you can chill during the day. Plenty of bars too but it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the manic San An (or longer if you turn it into a pub crawl  ).

No car = no problem - excellent bus service. Recommend you spend a day in Ibiza Town and do Dalt Villa. Some nice bars there too.

where to stay in ibiza

hey matan!
I have been to ibiza several times, it is an experience that will keep taking you back for more and more! August is the busyest period, I would reccomend you stay in ibiza in the old town if possible! The hotel El palacio is an awesome boutique hotel with just 7 rooms and a beautiful view of the whole town its a great place to chill after the partying with a lot of character and keeps you away from the hords of package tourists! You can go to the "croissant show" at dawn and see all the celebs there after the parties for the best croissant and coffee. Be sure to go to Salinas....the classiest beach. Youll love it.
