So...i've been getting back into Rock/Indie music lately and need some advice/reccomendations!

I've got the latest Kaiser Chiefs and Killers albums and really like these :D

What other bands are about doing similar sounding stuff?

A lot of these new(ish) bands seem to have one or two well known songs that get played on the radio but i never remember the names or anything :?

Any advice welcome!

I'm going to see the Kaisers in October 8) It's propper jump around music :D

The bravery - nyswan Phil, i'm pretty sure i've heard and liked their stuff.

Maximo Park
Editors
Razorlight (great live)
Hard-Fi
Arctic Monkeys (not got an album out yet but soon to be released, stuff available on downloads - absolutely brilliant Sheffield band)

Watch MTV2 NME chart at 7, you're bound to hear laods of good stuff from these and others. happy album buying :D

Also Bloc Party and Nine Black Alps very good too!

Cool, thanks 8) Def going to check out Razor light and Bloc party as only heard good things about them :D

Bloc party has fast become one of my favourite albums - takes a few lsitens but once you pass that barrier, it's well worth it!

Saw The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs at T in the Park and they were excellent! Seeing Kaisers at the Glasgow Carling too. Razorlight's album is also very good.

Try Alfie, up and coming Manchester band with a new album out, or British Sea Power and The Others.

Also, if you like indie balladeers such as Damian Rice and James Blunt, chech out Stephen Fretwell's album "Magpie" - absolutley awesome.

There's a lot of hot stuff coming out of Montreal at the mo....one worth checking out is Arcade Fire....their song Rebellion is awesome....not sure if it's over your way yet??
