Hi everyone:p
me and my friends are coming this september to ibiza (first time)!
we have absoloutly no idea where we should stay- whether in San Antonio or Ibiza town? where is all the fun for young people? do any of you have recomendations for cheap hotels/hostels that are in the center of happening?
and if we don't have a car to go around the island, is that a problem?
thanks in advance!!!

I think the general answer from everyone may be you need to be a bit more specific as in what you want from your holiday

I think the most important thing for me is to be in a place where there is nonstop action and interactions with different people around me.
maybe i'm just naive and every area in ibiza is this way...
what about staying in an apartment in playa d'en bossa? how is it compared to San An?
and again, thank you

In terms of "non stop action" both is to be found at San An and PDB (as long as you're not too picky).

PDB has Space and Bora Bora and is only 5 mins by Taxi OR 15 mins Walk to Ibiza Town.

San An has the "Sunset Strip" which has the famous Cafe Mambo and Cafe Del Mar amongst others.

It also has the WestEnd which is great for young groups on the piss, but it reminds me too much of hometown to hold much attraction to myself. But It is very popular.

Getting a car is a great idea, tehre is much more to see than the bars and clubs and the first time you go to up Es Vedra - i'll let you look that up - is breathtaking.

Everyone i know who's been have there own little places and favourites - the fun is finding your own. And there's lots to find.

Thanks mark,
I wonder, you told me what are the best streets in san an and PDB (i love the shortcuts) but, is there any special street or attraction in ibiza town?
Are there so many brits in san an? it's really hard for me to decide were to stay...

What about Burning Man? 8O :(
Oh no? Have you got something else lined up?

flights are paid for. Had one interview this week & got another on Monday, all the work is in London sadly :( cannot really afford to have anytime off.

Any IT recruitment agents on here?
