I would just find a new friend ( or go it alone!) if all he wants is drinking and hooking up. He may be better off in Greece, if he doesn't care much for the clubs (which is what is so expensive!)

I couldn't agree more- Last year, I wound up going with a friend who complained about every single dollar - he almost ruined my vacation, but of course Ibiza is so amazing that nothing could have ruined it...he came close though. This year, I am planning on going with a different friend, but I would go alone without a second thought

Well i wasn't complaining about every single euro i spent but when you spend €150 on 15 bottles of beer in a club i do believe you have every right to feel aggrieved don't you
Agreed, the drink prices are out of hand- especially 8 euros for a tiny bottle of water in an overheated club.. which poses some significant health/safety risks - as for alcohol, I found the beer/sangria to be reasonable at the pre-club bars - esp. bora bora(5 euros for a nice pint of sangria
)Bottom line though, if this friend is already complaining about money/prices, imagine how bad he will be when is in Ibiza - go alone.

15 bottles is abit greedy though Jonny? couldn't you (knowing the impending cost of water in aforementioned clubs) of hydrated properly first? ;-) There's no way I'd buy 15 bottles of water in a club in Ibiza!!!!!

and another thing....The drinks prices do piss me off too somewhat but hey-ho we all know what to expect... they do though have the added bonus of forcing people to re-think their holiday destinations and clubs they attend if they want to go and get skull ****ed on booze and don't actually caring about the music being played!

I was taking coke so i can drink until the cows come home once im on it (providing it's half decent stuff) anyway 15 bottles is about the norm anyway (for me anyway)

Although its sooo pricey... I don't regret any of my holidays in ibiza.. I could be a miserable whiney wussadn coplain about the prices... but I don't see why people comtinue to go to Ibiza if they are just going to complain about how expensive the clubs and drink prices are!
btw my advice is to just say you are going to ibiza and he can come if he wants or not.
why should you have to do what he wants and moreover, you're not gonna convince by asking a load of randoms on here. just go and give it to him straight up
