I love youtube!

Oooh suddenly that's not very funny is it?

I guess showing vids from the Iraq war is a good thing though.

Dead Iraqi babies won't get on the BBC/Channel 4 news after all will they? It's still going on after all and people seem to have lost interest somewhat.

Sorry for the dep come back  I can't see youtube from here.I think it's a great thing. No censorship from media, just showing things like they are :D

BTW, I can't use youtube and my yellow men are on strike (except this one ). I also can't make different paragraphs nor edit anything. But I can't go to the IT guy and tell him: can you fix my yellow men please?

Those yellow men can be quite petulant and difficult at times can't they?

on the subject, it's interesting sil to see the difference in censorship between Uk and spain.

remember the beslan (??) hostage incident in russia a few years ago, when they held a load of school kids hostage. the images were much graphic on spanish than british TV.

i agree that censorship only keeps people in the dark about what is happening and contributes to apathy. :? :x

Things changed lots since 11-M.There was a big debate about the images of the trains, which in some cases were nearly gore. I don't agree with any kind of censorship, but we deserve some kind of respect to the victims (11-m case) and their families. I also think that there's no need to show the most violent thing to make sure people know what's going on. Have you seen City of God? You hardly see a drop of blood but the violence is everywhere

8O 8O 8O

I had my fair share of moments like that at free parties when I was a west country raver. So glad video cams like that weren't in existence then.

It's very funny isn't it and surely proves that the dance vibe come's straight form the brain stem!

I love youtube as well..:)

but I do wonder about some of the vids that have made it on there... aside from the war ones.. I remember a while back getting a video sent to me about a man who had his last call from the world trade centre right before the building crumbled.. and it was recorded... while he was crying.. and says 'oh my god!!".. and then the line goes dead and the building collapses.

if that was my dad or brother or friend.. I wouldn't like the whole world to be watching it as 'entertainment'

Then again.. we find out a lot of truths that we wouldn't find out through regular 'news'

In regards to dance and clubbing stuff.. I'm always looking for ibiza videos or my favourite DJs.. and I love watching them, but I wonder if takes away from the excitement when I actually go to Ibiza or to see a certain DJ. When I was clubbing in my late teens.. I coudn't download music, or watch them live.. I didn't even know what half the DJs looked like... so everything was more fresh, new and exciting...
