I Lost My Mind in DC10......

who was playing that delightful evil funk inside DC-10 from around the 3:30ish mark to 7pm or so on monday 08 Sep??? breaky, evil baselines with hints of trance and acid thrown on top. so many fresh layers. he was playing while that cat got thrown out the side door

the man was straight up wicked.

only caught that he was from london.

if anyone can help me out, i would appreciate it.

that cat in a hat was none other than Damian Lazarus, the former chief of City Rockers label. When he played Justin Robertson's mix of Felix Da Housecat's "Harlot," I was having a serious DC10 moment. Top DJ!

gracias on the reply.

gotta bring that cat over to nyc.

couple of those tracks brought the house down. wicked soundzzzz..

that's what I was thinking..."If I open a club soon (and I will), this bastard's on my shortlist!" I loved his energy too, he was dancing like a monkey on speed behind those decks.

DC10 leaves and impression, doesn't it, Nick.

Did you enjoy that circus on the GU?

as the motto says, 'dont take life too seriously'.....everyone there is on a wind-up, most of the time.

you need to be a nutter to sign up in the first place :p

right place for us then...

It's just some of their post counts indicates they need more time @ DC10, less time in front of the screen

haha, well...to be honest its a sign of the times. i think forum junkies tend to be people who are at work and have a fast network connection. they just dont bother working :)

i wanna have their jobs...post all day get paid, go home and post some more!

Check it...Don't mean to upset you, but what's up with the Spurs...is Hoddle finally out or what?

Harry,

My experience was the same! I was pretty drunk when I arrived around 15:00 (from booze in room and Bora Bora) . This would prove to be the downfall of me! I found some magic dancing medicine and there was someone walking around who threw more in my mouth unexpectedly . After this I don't remember much until later in the day! If you were there, sorry if I was annoying! I did take a bunch of pics which has sorted out a little of what happened....

andre, if we lose to southampton at home on saturday...then i reckon thats it for Hod.

thing is, there isnt anyone obvious to replace him at the moment....

you follow english football then?

its funny. i almost didnt go to dc10 on account of feeling 'shattered'. what a foolish mistake i almost made.

trick is....dont drink too much booze ;)

Just European football in general. My favorite sport by far.

They show a few matches a week here in the states...Oh, and the wonders of internet. 8)

It's a shame about the Spurs, really. Great tradition, reasonable financial situation, yet shite management. They need to get it sorted.

tell me about it mate, tell me about it.

the suffering of being a spurs fan weighs heavy on my shoulders :(

shite management off-field (just look at some of the managerial appointments in the past decade) has stopped us progressing for a good 10 years.

and now we have the manager we have always wanted, it turns out he hasnt got a clue....

I wish Spurs the best -- like being bought by another Russian billionaire.

You should dump Hoddle and maybe give Venables another crack at it. Or maybe get O'Neill to take over next year, whaddaya think?

i'm impressed you mentioned O'Neill.

theres no doubt spurs have the talent and squad now. we need a manager who can inspire some fight and some pride and some will to run themselves into the ground.

you know, be proud to wear the colours.

venables, i wouldnt go for.

The problem with O'Neill is that he's not an option this year. I'm not sure who's available right away to come and get it straightend out.

You do need some defensively sound players as well.

Basically, hope best for next year ;)

when i first arrived i noticed that security was pretty heavy handed. saw quite a few people chucked out. and when some friends arrived later on in the day they mentioned that the police were body searching people outside.
