We've just been allotted wheelie bins .. one for kitchen rubbish, the other for garden rubbish! Now, being the neat and tidy person that I am, I've already got a stock of plastic bin liners .. but on the garden rubbish bin it says NO PLASTIC at all .. does this mean I shouldnt use a liner ? ?

I think it means "no plastic" as in recycle your plastic bottles - dont chuck in the bin.....

I always put big bin liners in my bin - otherwise its just horrid in the summer...... my bin men havent complained to me about using liners - and I am sure they would have taken the opportunity to reprimand me for flaunting local authority rules if it was a problem...... they are so arsey!!

Go for it Saffy!!!

God the Ibiza party season needs to hurry up - so far this week we have swapped recipies and given tips on IT and now were talking about dustbins....... its getting f**king scary this board!!! 8O

 All we need is some knitting patterns.....

I put bin liners in my normal wheelie, but for garden waste I think they expect it to degrade naturally and plastic, even bin-liners ;) won't do that. And what garden waste is so horrible you can't leave it in a wheelie bin with the lid down for a week? Bodies from under your patio? 8O

You shouldnt mock - there is a story in tThe Sun (so it must be true) about a woman in Germany who has just been done for murder - she buried her dad in the compost heap at the bottom of the garden - he's been there 2 years..... 8O

 Scoobie! Well .. they were a great deal of help ... they dont know either !

Ours are always full.

In fact, one ripped open in the lift the other day. It was like a sketch from Laurel and Hardy trying to pick it all up

Just what you need on a Monday morning.
